Isaiah 65:24
“It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.”
INSIGHT
-God’s divine favor and paternal love is evidenced by His response to our hearts desires. The closest conjunction of heaven and earth, that is, of God and men, is expressed through the prayers of our hearts coupled with His promises for us. Our hearts desires are supposed to be just and conformable to His will; and in His own accord permit our utmost requests, and answer them before we utter them.
PRAYER

“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.”
INSIGHT
-God’s blessings comes in many dimensions, among them is riches and wealth. Having blessed Abraham and his descendants, we are partakers of the same promise through faith in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:14). Riches are therefore not gotten merely by ones wisdom or diligence, but by God’s favor and blessing. Deuteronomy 8:18 discloses that, the Lord gives us the power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to our fathers, as it is this day. Proverbs 10:6 notes that, blessings are on the heads of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked. Since the just live by faith, the blessing of the Lord preserves the righteous from sorrowful toil, but the wicked fall into trouble. The wicked find pleasure in wicked schemes and enjoy ill-gotten treasures, but the righteous rely on God’s divine providence, which remains as an inheritance to many generations.
PRAYER
Dear Lord Almighty Father we thank You for Your goodness and mercy upon our lives. You are so faithful dear Jesus and Your word shall remain to many generations. Thank You for fulfilling Your promises in our lives from everlasting to everlasting. Thank You for making us rich and adding no sorrow unto us. Thank You for giving us the power to get wealth, and the wisdom to use it to advance Your kingdom. Thank You for blessing us with an eternal blessing. We do not deserve it but it is only through Your grace and mercy. We boldly come to Your throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and grace to help us in times of need. May You forgive us dear Jesus for the many times we have gone astray and fallen short of Your glory. May You elevate us together with our families and friends to the next level and preserve us from anything that may cause us pain. May You bless the work of our hands merciful Savior. May Your divine provision be ever present in our home’s that we may find pasture in all seasons. The sun shall not smite us by day nor the moon by night because we belong to You Lord. “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
INSIGHT
-People make plans for various reasons and with all kinds of motives founded on their most desired short-term and long-term goals. Sometimes we listen keenly to the voice of God for the present and even future, and follow Him, but we might be distracted by other peoples opinions and counsel, or our own lusts and pride, that may cause us to start a course for destination God is not leading us to. James 4:13-15 tells us that, “Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” We note that it is not wrong to plan, but let us be open to God correcting our course and be careful to follow His Will. While it is right to make plans as one who has been empowered for decision-making, we must remember that God is ultimately in charge and may change our course whenever He sees fit. We are also reminded that God is sovereign and rules the universe, which He created for His own good purposes and His own glory, and we should be keen to follow His will.
PRAYER
You are Sovereign our Lord and God, Creator of the heavens and earth, and all that is in it. You are the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, our everlasting Father. We praise You and glorify Your holy name. You knew us and chose us before the foundations of the earth that we may be holy and blameless before You. You predestined us for adoption to sonship that we may accomplish Your will, for the glory of Your name. May You align our hearts desires according to Your divine will dear Jesus. May You form our hearts desires according to Your purposes that we may be fully submitted to You dear Jesus. Even though we have many plans in our hearts, may Your will prevail in our lives, families, work, businesses, education, purposes, ministries, churches, nation and the entire world. May You take charge of the situation in Ethiopia and Uganda, and grant them peace Abba Father. May You grant us god-fearing leaders come the next years elections. May Your heal all those who are sick and suffering merciful Savior. May Your peace be found in all the nations of the world. May You establish us in Your truth, that we may listen to Your voice and follow You our good Shepherd. Thank You for the plans You have for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. May You lead us through the narrow path that leads to life. You are worthy to be worshipped and adored. You are worthy to be praised dear Jesus. We glorify Your holy name, now and forever. Amen
Blessed Wednesday

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
INSIGHT
-To delight means to find pleasure, happiness and comfort in someone or something. To delight oneself in the Lord therefore means to make Jehovah our joy as we rejoice in Him. Vain men delight in carnal objects; such as idols, and other vanities that sublime their sorrows and desires but for a time. Proverbs 18:2 reminds us that, fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions. To delight in the Lord is to find pleasure in God’s precepts, wisdom, word, spiritual songs, prayer, and purpose for our lives. To delight in the Lord also brings an impression of trusting in the Lord with our hearts desires and He will bring them to pass. The result of delighting in the Lord is an enhanced relationship with Him. James 4:8 reminds us to come near to God and He will come near us. To purify our hearts through sincere repentance and to desire His will alone. When we draw near to God and He draws near us, then we find love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control; which is the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER
Abba Father we exult You and praise Your holy name. We acknowledge that You are God and only You deserve to be worshipped and praised. Only You deserve to be adored dear Jesus. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus You are Lord to the glory of God the Father. You redeemed us by Your precious blood dear Jesus, how great are You in all the heavens and the earth. May You forgive us all our trespasses and wash us with Your precious blood. May You heal all our diseases and those who are sick and suffering, and anoint us afresh with Your peace that surpasses all human understanding. May You heal the hearts of all those who are bereaved and grant them comfort. Only You are worthy to be exulted and magnified. May You teach us to delight in You dear Jesus. May You draw our hearts close to You that we may love You with all our hearts, souls, minds and hearts. May You satisfy our hearts with Your fruit Holy Spirit that we may be filled with Your goodness and love. May You impart in us Your gifts Holy Spirit that we may perform good works for the advancement of Your Kingdom. May You answer all our prayers and hearts desires according to Your great love. “May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose.”
INSIGHT
-God desires that we succeed in our purposes here on earth. Often times does He send angelic help from heaven to ensure that His will for our lives prevails. We are reminded that our hearts desires should not centered on self but geared towards uplifting the lives of others while giving glory to God. God looks at our hearts and gives each one according to his ways and the fruit of his doing (Jeremiah 17:10). Our ways should be fruitful in Jesus Christ, as we accomplish the purpose for which we were called. Cornelius the Italian regimen prayed and gave alms generously, which came to the memorial of God, and he received his requests, and salvation came to his entire household (Acts 10). Our deeds and hearts desires should be established in God’s divine purpose and in all we do, we shall find good success. The main scripture is a prayer that the Lord may grant us the desires of our hearts desires and fulfill our purpose.
SUMMARY
People have diverse dreams and hearts desires. Probably you desire to be married and/or have children. Perhaps you’ve always desired to start a business, a ministry or be employed in a multinational organization, or become a leader in government, church or in the society. Maybe you desire to buy a car or house and other things that you consider vital. Probably you desire to grow deeper in faith, have spiritual gifts and the gift of salvation. Maybe you desire to go to heaven and be with the Lord forever, at your death. These are some of the dreams that lie deep in our hearts. It is important to note that, as long as we live on this earth, we must have hearts desire which build up our hope. We hope for a better future, and desire to live on. Some consider these desires as blessings from the Lord and their trust in the Lord. Abraham the father of faith received a blessing of land, descendants, and an eternal inheritance. Since we are his seed in Christ Jesus, we should always put our trust in the Lord in everything that we need. We are God’s children and He knows our hearts desires before we utter them (Isaiah 65:24). Also, since God loves us so much, and He is so dear to us, He desires good for us. He gave us His only begotten Son that we may believe in Him and have eternal life. God has blessed us with an eternal blessing and by this we rejoice in Him always. We are reminded that His blessing make one rich and add no sorrow to it (Proverbs 10:22). His blessing is eternal and we should find rest in Him. This is a cause for us to delight in the Lord. When we make God our Lord and are satisfied with His love, peace and joy, He grants our hearts desires. Even though we delight in the Lord for what He has given us and done unto us, we should also be keen to follow His word and will. Many are the plans in our hearts but it is the will of God that prevails (Proverbs 19:21). It is key to align our plans and hearts desires to the will of God, that we may receive our requests. God looks at our hearts to give each one according to his ways and the fruit of his doing (Jeremiah 17:10). Sometimes we ask and do not receive because we ask amiss, to spend it on our own pleasures (James 4:3). It is vital to realize that God’s will must prevail in our lives. Lastly, we should put our focus on God and know what we have been called to achieve here on earth. God have given us diverse gifts and callings for the edification of His body; the church, that we may bear much fruit for the glory of His name. He has called us to love one another and do good. Even though sometimes our prayers and hearts desires take longer than we expect, we should not loose hope but wait in the Lord patiently while giving thanks, and He shall answer us.
PRAYER
We give thanks to You Lord our God, for You are good and Your love endures forever. We give thanks to You Lord, with all our hearts and tell of all Your wonderful deeds. Lord You are the Rock of our salvation, we come before You with thanksgiving in our hearts and extol You with music and song. Only You Jesus Christ, are our great God and King, mighty above all gods. Only You are the true God, and worthy of all worship. We rejoice in You Lord and sing praises to You, for You have good unto us. We worship You and exult Your holy name. May You answer all our prayers and hearts desires, according to Your will, according to Your everlasting mercy and love. May You bless us Lord and keep us. May You make Your face to shine upon us and be gracious unto us. May You turn Your countenance upon us and grant us peace. Amen
