Ezekiel 37:4-5
“Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.”
INSIGHT
-The word of God is life and has power to resuscitate every dry bone. God showed Ezekiel a valley of dry bones and instructed him to prophecy unto them saying, “dry bones hear the word of the Lord”. Through Ezekiel the prophet, God caused the dry bones bones to come to life. God breathed His ruach or breath of life into them. The same breath that God breathed into man in the beginning, and man became a living being (Genesis 2:7). John 1 describes the word of God as God Himself. He is the Word who made everything and in Him there was life, and the life was the light of all mankind. The dry bones are symbolic to the nation of Israel who were hopeless and suffered despair after the captivity. Sometimes we experience disappointment in life, and some situations seem like dry bones. In our families some people are sick and others do not know the Lord. Our businesses may be suffering from poor revenues. Our careers may have been cut short and affected by COVID-19. Our marriages may be experiencing challenges. Our visions may seem to difficult to achieve, our plans may seem dead. Our nation may seem suffering from insecurities, slow economic growth, corruption and many other challenges. These are the dry bones that God is calling us to prophecy unto, that they may hear the word of God, and come to life.
PRAYER
We sing praises to Your name Lord and acknowledge all Your benefits. Only You are worthy to be praised and adored. Only You deserve to be worshipped and exulted. We raise Your banner Jesus in all the earth and proclaim Your holy name. Only You are worthy Lord, only You are able. Only You are able to turn around every dead situation in our lives. Only You are our Jehovah Jireh, our Provider and Sustainer. Breath Your life in our lives Jesus and anoint us afresh. Breath new life in our families and heal all those who are sick. Breath new life in the children living in the street that their lives may be transformed for the glory of Your name. Breath new life in our plans and future dear Jesus. Breath new life in our purposes and ministries that Your name will be exulted through us. Breath new life in our churches that it may be a place of hope and transformation. Breath new life in our economy and bless us abundantly Lord. Do a new thing unto us dear Master. Cause transformation in our lives and those of our families and friends. May revival reach all Your people dear Jesus. Your word is light dear Jesus, shine Your light in every situation. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ
INSIGHT
-The wisdom of the word of God has been imparted unto us and is effective in building up our faith in Christ Jesus. According to the grace of God we must be careful how we build on our faith in Christ as co-workers in His service that we may be effective in our labor and receive our reward. It is through faith that it may be accounted to us for righteousness as none can reach the perfection of Christ, who died on the cross for our sins. Following the example of Abraham, we are called to accept the righteous requirement of God that comes through faith and not by the law. Following other examples in the word of God, and essentially the example of Christ, we are able to walk as He walked. The word of God is powerful and should be accompanied by faith in Christ that we may effective to accomplish all that God requires us to. It is through faith that the word of God is effective to accomplish that which it has been intended to.
PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, how great is Your Name and praise all over. You are worthy of our praise and all honor. We worship You and exalt Your Name on this day. May You forgive us for all the sins we have done. May You wash us with the precious blood of Jesus Christ and purify us afresh. We thank You for Your constant love and mercies that are new every morning. You have done so much for us that we cannot tell it all so we give You thanks, Glory and honor. We pray that You may enlighten our understanding so as to perceive all that You tell us and enable us to receive and understand Your word. May You increase our faith dear Lord. We come against the spirit of doubt. We declare that we shall stand firm upon Your Word and the great promises You have kept for us. May You guard our hearts in You and keep us away from distractions from what You have called us for or and our purposes in You. Holy Spirit, may you take over our lives and teach us all things that we may know the heart of the Father. We trust in You Lord Jesus, may you take over all. We pray this in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Psalms 85:8-13
“I will hear what God the Lord will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly. Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may dwell in our land. Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed. Truth shall spring out of the earth, And righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yes, the Lord will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase. Righteousness will go before Him, And shall make His footsteps our pathway.”
INSIGHT
-The Lord caused restoration to prevail in the lives of the Israelites after the Babylonian captivity. The psalm reveals the salvation that comes through the word of the Lord. Also, it discloses the mercies of our Prince of peace who speaks wisdom, truth, righteousness and prospers His people. Throughout the word of God, we see wise counsel and various examples of the restoration and favor of the Lord. Isaac received comfort when he lost his mom, and the Lord gave him a beautiful wife. We also see God’s mercy when Isaac’s barren wife Rebekah was blessed with children. Afterwards when there was famine, God directed him to Gerar, the land of the Philistines where he continued to prosper and became very prosperous; despite the opposition present. God’s provision is also seen through His provision when the widow of Zarephath was restored. God is our healer and this is a theme that runs all through the Bible; including physical and spiritual healing. We are reminded to hear and believe in the word of God that brings peace, restoration and salvation in our lives.
PRAYER
Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our steps Jesus, guide us in Your truth merciful Savior. Your word causes our hearts to hope in You Lord, train our hearts to wait on You and to seek You in all things. Your word gives us comfort when we are afflicted and provides Your salvation, thank You for saving us. Your word has given us life and life forever more, we exult Your holy name. Thank You Lord for loving us. May You cause restoration in our lives. We wait on You Lord save us from all our tribulations. Our hearts yearn for You, heal all our wounds merciful Savior. Break every evil force that has come to bring delay and destruction in our lives and families. Bring restoration in our lives and nation dear Jesus and save us we humbly beseech You. Remove every accusation against us in the courts of heaven and wash us with Your precious blood dear Jesus. Your word is truth, may You answer all our prayers and hearts desires. We shall not be moved dear Jesus for we have victory in You. We are more than conquerors in You Christ Jesus. We praise You and lift Your name high, now and forever. Amen

John 16:13
“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.”
INSIGHT
-Jesus had earlier made a promise to the apostles that the Holy Spirit would remind them of His word (John 14:26), and now that the Spirit will guide them into all truth. This promise came to fulfillment when the Holy Spirit came unto them and all of us who believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit then teaches us and guides us into spiritual realities and we should not be led by human wisdom (1 Corinthians 2:13). The Holy Spirit guides us through the infusion by our spirit which wages war against the flesh. Therefore, since the word of God is the sword of the Spirit and helmet of salvation, it is living and sharper that any two edged sword. It causes a separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and discerns the thoughts and intentions of our hearts (Hebrews 4:12). The Holy Spirit then desires that we are only led by Him into all truth and when guided we should not harden our hearts. If then we are led by the Spirit of God we are sons of God (Romans 8:14).
PRAYER
The grass withers and the flower fades, but Your word stands forever. Your word Lord is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword, guide us into all truth. Teach us Your ways Holy Spirit. Touch our hearts Holy Spirit that we may hear Your word and follow Your will. Anoint us afresh with Your wisdom that we may hear Your voice. We are sorry Holy Spirit for every time we have grieved You, forgive us. Soften our hearts and those of our children that we may worship You in spirit and in truth. Soften the hearts of our leaders that they may only hear Your word. Soften the hearts of all people in Kenya and in all the other nations that they may know You and follow Your divine will. May Your salvation dear Jesus be present in all corners of the world that we may become Your children. Thank You for loving us dear Jesus and for blessing us with all spiritual blessings. Thank You for this far that You have brought us and for this new month. May You guide us into all truth this entire month. May every promise You have deposited in our spirits come to life. We thank You Abba Father for making us Your children that we may never lack any good thing. All glory, honor, power, blessings, wealth and salvation belongs to You Jesus, now and forever. Amen

Matthew 13:18-23
“Therefore hear the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
INSIGHT
-The parable of the sower outlines the secret of fruitfulness in the kingdom of God. The seed describes the word of God which should land on fertile soil and a submitted heart for this to manifest. Sometimes we hear the word of God but it does not take root in our hearts. Certain diverse issues may arise to distract us from the way to the cross. The word might be received with joy and thus misinterpreted and one become unfruitful. Persecutions and tribulations may also become an impediment to progress in our purposes. Other times cares of the world and deceitful riches hinder us from walking in the will of God. God calls us to cast unto Him all our troubles and cares which may divert our commitment to hearing His word. He reminds us that we are blessed when we hear His word and keep it (Luke 11:28).
SUMMARY
Jesus describes the kingdom of God by demonstration of unique parables. As discussed by the parable of the sower, it is most important that we hear the word of God and keep it, that we may bear fruit. The quality of the seed is also key for growth and maturity in the kingdom of God. The true word of God brings forth life. Ezekiel was instructed by God to prophecy to the dry bones and they would hear His word, and live (Ezekiel 37:4-5). The breath of life spoken into every dead situation or dead soul causes resurrection. The Holy Spirit fills us with His gifts and fruit, that we may be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth. He is the Spirit of truth who infuses the true word into our spirits, that we may always give thanks and worship Him in spirit and truth. It is God’s will that we give thanks in all situations (1 Thessalonians 5:18). When we hear the word of God, the Holy Spirit witnesses with our spirits that we are children of God, and whatever we ask, we receive. This causes our hearts to always rejoice in Him. The Bible is filled with amazing experiences, parables and declarations that yield new life in us if we believe. When we hear the word of God, it builds up our faith in Him, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Faith as small as the of the mastered seed, produces to become an enormous tree. Without faith what can we do? Without faith we cannot please God. Without faith we are not believers of Christ and cannot receive anything from Him. Without faith we cannot walk in obedience to His word, which is living and sharper than any two edged sword. The word of God in our hearts must be accompanied by faith, and our lives and every other situation is transformed. Fruitfulness is founded in faith and the realization of God’s will in our lives. God loves us and intends that we live peaceful, in health and prosperity for the glory of His name.
