Genesis 6:7-8 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast,... GRACE

Genesis 6:7-8

So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

-Grace in Hebrew is written as chen & it means kindness, charity, favor, beauty, tenderness, gentleness, refinement, subtlety, desire, will, goodwill, splendor, adornment. Grace basically means undeserved favor.

-Eph 1:7, In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

-Through the death & resurrection of Christ, we have redemption of sins by righteousness in Him, that grace may abound in us forever. During the time of Noah, man & beast were destroyed but now through Christ’s loving kindness & eternal mercy we find grace into eternal life in Him.

We humbly come before You Father this morning. We know that we have sinned & do not deserve Your grace. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness & take control of our lives. We thank You for Your everlasting love, mercy & grace upon our lives. We give You praise & glorify Your holy name. Amen

Colossians 4:6

Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

-Apostle Paul reminds us that our words should be measured & rich in wisdom; focused on uplifting others. James echoes the same sentiments that, we should be swift to hear, slow to speak & slow to wrath (Jam 1:19).

-Having the love, forgiveness & wisdom of Christ in our hearts, our words will be full of hope in uniting all those around us. We are the salt & light of the world, may our words & actions be seasoned with salt bringing glory to God.

Our Lord & King who made us in Your own image & redeemed us through Christ Your son;  look with compassion on the whole human family. Take away all the hatred & unforgiveness in our hearts that we may edify one another in words of hope & acts of love; through which will bring glory to You. Amen

2 Corinthians 12:7-9

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

-Apostle Paul was caught up in the third heavens (spiritual realm) fourteen years from the time he was writing this. A thorn in the flesh  (messenger of satan) was there to torment him but he prayed to God three times that it might depart from him & God answered him.

-Only God can help us in our weaknesses & addictions through His grace; no matter how much we try by ourselves, we cannot overcome. Jesus says “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Christs grace is sufficient for all humanity & His omnipotent nature secures us from all forms of evil. When we are weak in ourselves then we are strong in His grace. Therefore, when we call on Him in our weaknesses, He restores our souls by His divine strength & grace.

Jesus Christ our Redeemer, we humbly come to You today in our weaknesses & addictions. Help us by Your divine power & grace to overcome this thorns in our flesh. Take complete control of our lives so that we may rest secure in You. Amen

Galatians 2:20-21

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

-By one man’s (Adam) disobedience we became sinners, but by one Mans (Jesus, Who knew no sin) obedience, we were made righteous. In the old testament; obedience was the root of righteousness but after Jesus death & resurrection, obedience became the fruit of holiness. Therefore, we are not under law but under grace; since Christ lives in us. We know that we cannot hope for what we see; but what we cannot see, our hope in Christ is eternal life granting us undeserved favour now & forever. (Rom 6:22).

You are worthy Oh Lord, to receive glory, honour, power & praise for You were slain for our sins. We thank You for the undeserved favour that You have granted us. We know that nothing can separate us from Your love, Father. May Your grace abound in our hearts so that Your Kingdom may come & will be done on earth as it is in heaven, to impart our lives. Amen

Acts 20:32
“So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

-In Exo 19:14, Moses sanctified the people at the foot of mount Sinai in readiness to receive God. By the blood of Jesus; we obtain sanctification & redemption in His everlasting mercy given to us, so that we may receive His grace & peace (1 Pet 1:2). Gods blessings are pronounced in the beatitudes where  inheritance of earth is given to the meek & inheritance of the kingdom of heaven to those who are ready to learn from Him in obedience. Therefore, God supplies all our needs by His mercy & grace.

-While humanity & beasts were destroyed, Noah received the grace of God as he was saved.

-Our speech should be seasoned with salt, so that we may spread the love & peace of Christ. By this we uplift one another & Christ is edified in our peaceful relations.

-The  grace of Christ is sufficient for us & His strength is made perfect in our weakness. Through our weaknesses & imperfections, Christs power & grace are revealed to us for He protects us from all evil.

-Righteousness comes through the grace of God, for He lives in us. Therefore, we are not under law but under grace, for He died for us all & has granted us His eternal mercy & love for free.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ & the love of God, & the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now & forever more. Amen
