Romans 8:28-30
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”
INSIGHT
-A sequence of events has been revealed through the scriptures to expose God’s divine purposes for us. It is through the love of God that He has made it possible for us to walk according to His purpose. God has a good plan for each of our lives though some among us do not walk in His purpose and do not find their path of destiny. Paul in his apostleship fought the good fight, he ran the race and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). Also, before his death, Myles Munroe proclaimed that he was ready to die empty, having accomplished his purpose. God knew us before we were formed in our mothers wombs as he disclosed to prophet Jeremiah, and ordained him a prophet to all the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). God foreknew us before we had any knowledge of Him. He predestined us to the likeness of His Son Jesus Christ who is the first born among many brethren. He also called us to sonship that we may inherit His kingdom. God justified us through faith in Jesus Christ and glorified us with the gift of eternal life, that He may receive glory to the highest end. These event did not catch Him by surprise, but God pre-planned everything according to His mercy love. Our purposes should not also catch us by surprise because God is loving and He reveals His plans for us, for the glory of His name.
PRAYER
Thanks You Abba Father for this new month that we have just began. Thank You for it is a new season of divine blessings. You are doing a new thing unto our lives, families, work, businesses, relationships, marriages and unto our nation. We exult Your holy name. We did not know You but You knew us before we were formed in our mothers wombs. You formed us, predestined us and conformed us to the image of Your Son Jesus Christ. We believe in You and hope in Your salvation Lord. Your called us according to Your divine purpose Jesus that Your name may be praised, we exult Your holy name. May Your name be praised in all the earth. Many are the plans in a man’s heart but You Lord ordain his steps, ordain our steps our loving Master. Show us what we ought to do according to Your divine strategy merciful Savior. Guide us in the way that we should go Holy Spirit. Heal all the sick and comfort all the broken hearted dear Jesus. Be with all those parents who cannot afford school fees and other basic need that You may open many doors for them. Be with all those who are jobless and are struggling financially that You may open new opportunities for them. Remember all those who are unmarried dear Jesus that You may unite each one with their spouses. Refresh us dear Jesus with a fresh anointing and protect us from all the snares of the evil one. Do a new thing in our lives and make a way where there seems to be no way. Forgive us all our sins and help us to forgive those who offend us merciful Saviour. Guide us Holy Spirit in everything that we do according to Your divine purposes. You have justified us and glorified us according to Your unending love, all our hope and trust is in You Jesus Christ. We adore You and praise Your holy name, and it is in Jesus Christ we pray believing and trusting in Jesus name. Amen

INSIGHT
-God’s kindness and love appeared to man, not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to His mercy and love, and saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:4-5). God has liberated us on account of His salvation and grace and not by our own works lest anyone should boast. Salvation is by grace and not based on human efforts but God’s saving plan and gracious gift of His Son Jesus Christ. God’s plan to save sinners is eternal through His death and resurrection for our sins. If then we have been saved, God uses us as His stewards to propagate His kingdom message, and we are not our own. It is through His holy calling that we preach His gospel of truth with boldness in our areas of influence amid persecution that may come our way, for the glory of His name, for He has won victory for us.
PRAYER
Abba Father, You satisfy us with Your compassion and mercy early, so that we may rejoice and be glad all the days of our lives. Teach us to number our days dear Jesus that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Let Your grace appear to us Your children and Your glory to our children loving Father. Let Your beauty be upon us and make everything beautiful at Your time. Make everything beautiful for all children living in the streets and grant them new lives filled with hope. Deliver all the prisoners from their chains by Your precious blood, that we may all do Your divine will dear Jesus. Heal all those who are sick and restore their health according to Your loving kindness. Be our Light that delivers from all darkness King of glory. Establish the work our hands according to Your merciful love. Establish the work of our hands merciful Savior and increase us in fruitfulness and productivity, and lead us to maturity in Your salvation. Let us make a difference in this age we live in and make a difference in our areas of operation and influence, according to Your unending grace. Be there with us and in us always when we preach and teach Your word of truth and defend us during the time of opposition. Fight all our battles dear Jesus and let us rejoice in Your victory from everlasting to everlasting. Answer all our prayers, and hearts desires with love merciful Savior we humbly ask You. Give us the strength to bear all sufferings and tribulations with faith for You have already won victory for us. May Your goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives, and we shall dwell in Your house forever. Amen

INSIGHT
-It is by God’s mercy and grace that He perfect’s everything that concerns us, according to His divine purpose. This has been God’s mission for His children since the foundation of the world. We find examples of God working through His patriarchs and servants, like:- Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Ruth, Esther, Hannah, Elijah, Daniel etc., and His Son Jesus Christ. He has also worked through people who were considered wicked like Paul, and others who were considered lost and probably ineffectual like the demon possessed man in Mark 5:1-20. Jesus discloses that it is by His mercy that He delivered this man from the snares of the devil. Probably the man was considered hopeless and at the same time dangerous having been bounded by chains which he kept breaking. When Jesus appeared, the man paid homage to Him and the demons begged that He does not send them out of the territory. Such are cases that Jesus saved and healed in scripture, and continues to do so even today. Some among us, in our families, communities, streets and world, and under demonic influence and need Jesus’ intervention. Some among us wonder aimlessly in the streets and their destinies are delayed or destroyed. Others are addicted to drugs, alcohol, pornography, prostitution, corruption, pride and other vices, and need Jesus. Many have been chained by diseases, infirmities and fear, and have lost hope. Others have been chained by struggles of life and some cannot even afford bread, and are lacking in faith. We all need Jesus. We need His love, mercy, grace and salvation as He perfects all that concerns us.
PRAYER
Lord You reign. You reign forever. You are clothed with majesty and love, we trust in You. You are clothed with grace and are girded with strength, Your mercy and love endures forever. Surely the world is established, and it cannot be moved. Your throne is established from of old, You are from everlasting and we who trust in You shall never be moved. Jesus on high You are mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea. Your testimonies are very sure. Holiness adorns Your house forever. Deliver us merciful Savior from every chain that ensnares us. Heal all our wounds including those who are waiting for Your physically, psychologically and emotionally healing, dear Jesus. Break every chain of disease, infirmity, barrenness, drug addiction, alcoholism, pornography, prostitution, corruption, pride, and any other thing that displeases You in our lives, families, relationships, society, nation and the entire world, loving Father. Set all the demon possessed free in our society dear Jesus. We cast all our cares and burdens unto You dear Jesus, set us all free. Forgive us our trespasses and heal all our wounds merciful Savior. Heal all our blood lines and wash us with Your precious blood. Remove every accusation by the devil in the courts of heaven against us, our descendants, generations and everyone who is called by our names dear Savior. May You perfect all that concerns us dear Jesus, for Your mercy and love endures forever. Do not forsake the works of Your hands and make us whole in Your salvation dear Jesus. Our Father who art in heaven; hallowed be Your name; Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptations but deliver us from evil; for thine is the Kingdom the power and the glory; forever and ever. Amen

Hebrews 13:20-21
“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”
INSIGHT
-Our God of peace, desires that we live in peace with Him and with one another. By His precious blood; He reconciled us to the Father and took away our sins. He who is the great Shepherd of the sheep purchased us with His blood and made us free from the law. We therefore rejoice in His everlasting covenant which makes us complete in every good work as we do His will, which is pleasing in His sight. God works in us and through us, both to will and do His good pleasures in us, and requires us to work our salvation with fear and trembling and obey His will (Philippians 2:12-13). We are cautioned from getting anxious when the wicked prosper in their evil ways which leads to destruction, but to wait patiently on the Lord (Psalms 37:7-10). Jesus Christ who is ruler over the kings of the earth, has made us kings and priests to our God and Father, and not for our own selves, to the glory and honor of His name, forever and ever. Amen (Revelation 1:5-6).
PRAYER
Hear our prayers O Lord and give ear to our supplications. In Your faithfulness answer us and in Your righteousness satisfy our souls. Teach us to do Your will, for You are our God, and Your Holy Spirit is good. Lead us in the land of uprightness and let us not be anxious when the wicked prosper but look to the light of Your salvation. Revive us O Lord, for Your name’s sake, and for Your righteousness’ sake bring our souls out of trouble, we humbly implore You. We are kings and priests unto You Abba Father, and we rule here on earth; for Your names sake. Anoint us afresh Holy Spirit, and fill us with Your wisdom, that we may rule effectively here on earth. Propel us in Your divine purposes dear Jesus that we may fulfil Your divine purpose for the glory and honor of Your name. We pray for all the school going children that You may bless them, provide for them and prosper them in their education and destines. Remember with mercy Lord, all the teenagers that You may strengthen them at the wake of temptations, and enable them to overcome. Be with us Your children, and enlighten us in Your favor and blessings. We who are in You Jesus we shall overcome every evil force, temptation and wicked plan in Your name Jesus. We are blessed of You and more than conquerors in You Jesus. We shall rule effectively and reign in righteousness like Abraham, Elijah, Joseph, Samuel, David, Daniel, Esther and Paul, for Your names sake Jesus Christ. We shall succeed in our areas of domain, for Your names sake Abba Father. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forever more. Amen

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
INSIGHT
-There are many devices in a man’s heart which may seem good in our eyes. Some desires we conceptualize in our hearts over time and they may seem too perfect to miscarry. Sometimes these are our own desires which might not be God’s plan for us. God’s design sometimes contradicts and overrules our own desires and when rushed they might cause us trouble or pain. God reveals that the whole duty of man is to fear Him and keep His commandments, for He will bring everything good and evil unto judgment (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14). The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out (Proverbs 20:5). We find wisdom and insights from God Himself as He speaks to us in diverse ways so that we may accomplish that which He has designed for us.
SUMMARY
Our purpose in life is the very meaning of our existence and without knowing this we often suffer ignorant of our own significance. We fall prey to the illusion that our lives don’t matter and we have no connection or impact on the world around us. The Bible offers many insights into man’s purpose on earth and living within a meaningful mission. God is sovereign and rules the universe, which He created for His own good purposes and His own glory. God makes known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. God’s purpose will always stand and He does all that He pleases. From the east He summon a bird of prey and from a far-off land, a man to fulfil His purpose. What He says He brings it to pass and what He plans He will accomplish (Isaiah 46:10-11). We know that we are God’s handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). He created us in His own image and delegated authority to us to rule the earth and subdue it in His name (Gen 1:26-28). He made us priests and kings to Him and gave us power to rule the earth. King David for instance served God’s purpose as a king in His own generation (Acts 13:36). He ate consecrated bread which was meant for the priests and did not die (1 Samuel 21:6). He later fell asleep and was buried with his ancestors, and his body decayed. God has a purpose for each one of us and we should focus on what God desires us to accomplish for the glory of His name. He has a purpose to the mighty and those that seems least among us, and each one should be treated equally without favouritism. Jesus delivered the demon possessed man who lived in the region of Gerasenes and set him free. Out of His merciful love He considered the man as valuable, to make a difference in his area of domain. In the same way God uses us in this present age for the advancement of His kingdom. Our God of peace made available His good intentions for us, by redeeming us through His beloved Son Jesus Christ. His peace has been made available to us through His Holy Spirit, that we may love Him and our neighbors as ourselves. We were bought at a price and we are not on our own. We are therefore called to honor God with our bodies and flee from sexual immorality, for our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in us, and whom we have received from God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). God is a perfect God, and perfects all that concerns us by His divine purpose, for the glory of His name. He saved us not according to our own works, but according to His grace and purpose which was given to us before time, in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We belong to God, and He has called us for His divine purpose. We are all members of the body of Christ, and we coexist with each other, and edify one another with love, as we advance His kingdom. We should not be worried about our future but should trust in God with all our hearts and learn not on our own understanding but acknowledge Him in all we do. Since we have been called according to His purpose, then we trust that well things will work for our good and for His kingdom purposes.
PRAYER
You are Great and Mighty God, we thank You for this far that You have brought us, and the far that You are taking us. May You reveal to each one of us our purposes and enable us to accomplish all that You have called us to do. You are Great and Mighty in all Your works. You created us in Your own image and likeness, and that exist in heaven, on earth and under the earth, all creation bows down before You our Lord and Savior. We appreciate You for who You are and what You have done in our lives. We approach Your throne of grace with boldness Jesus that we may obtain grace and mercy to help us during the time of need. We rely on Your mercy and grace, enable us to do Your will. We thank You and praise Your holy name. You have obtained victory for us, all glory and praise belongs to You. May the Lord bless us and keep us. The the Lord make His face shine upon us and be gracious to us. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon us and give us peace. Amen
