Proverbs 1:23 NKJV
“Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.”
INSIGHT
-To pour out in Hebrew is naba in Hebrew which means ‘gush forth’ or ‘pouring of ‘ of water from a fountain or springing forth of a torrent of words. This proverb is a prophetic intimation of a future great outpouring of the Spirit accompanied by an outpouring of expression words through the Spirit. Joel 2:28 emphasizes this prophetic vision stating that, “it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.” God has poured His spirit unto us and we have the will to choose right or wrong, life or death. It is the will of man to make the decision and the Holy Spirit helps us and convicts us of sin, righteousness and judgement (John 16:8). He is our Advocate and teaches us all things and reminds of everything Jesus has said to us. (John 14:26). When we are anointed by the Holy Spirit, rivers of living water flow out of our hearts by the grace of God (John 7:38).
PRAYER
How great is Your name in all the heavens and the earth Dear Jesus. How great is Your word Abba Father. How great is Your anointing precious Holy Spirit. May You anoint us afresh that we may know You more and keep Your word. As You convict us of sin, righteousness and judgement may You chasten us and forgive us all our sins and trespasses. May You remove every accusation and curse against us in the courts of heaven our precious Advocate. May You set us, our children and relatives free from every perpetual sin and addiction and lead us to the everlasting path of life. May Your gift of salvation dwell in our households and our nation. May You do a new thing in our lives. We worship You Holy Spirit and adore You now and forever. Amen

Exodus 28:41 NKJV
“So you shall put them on Aaron your brother and on his sons with him. You shall anoint them, consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister to Me as priests.”
INSIGHT
-Moses was instructed by God to consecrate Aaron and his sons. Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it and consecrated them. He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its base, to consecrate them. He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him. Then Moses brought Aaron’s sons and put tunics on them, girded them with sashes, and put hats on them, as the Lord had commanded Moses (Leviticus 8:6-13). Moses anointed Aaron and his children to make them holy before our Holy God. He has anointed us to be priests to Him and called us to accomplish the work that He has called us to do. He calls us to be vessels of honor and follow His will and statutes as we rely on His precious blood for cleansing and purification. Jesus our great High Priest who has passed through the heavens sympathize with our weaknesses and grants us His grace and mercy in times of need (Hebrews 4:14-16).
PRAYER
Almighty Heavenly Father, we bow before Your throne of grace this day with humble adoration and thanksgiving in our hearts. Saying that You are the one that we love that we adore and that we need. Father, we thank You for all You have done for us and all You have given for us. Thank You for Your good plans for us, and Your loving kindness and mercies You have towards us. We pray that You shall wash us with Your precious blood Jesus and sanctify us from all our sins. May You forgive us where we have not pleased You and purify us. We pray that You will anoint us afresh by Your Holy Spirit and consecrate us for Your service, that we may serve You Lord effectively and by the power of Your Holy Spirit just as You did to Aaron and his sons. May You make us vessels of honor by Your power and grace dear Heavenly Father. We honor You Lord and bless Your holy name, in Jesus name we pray believing and trusting. Amen

1 Samuel 16:13 NKJV
“Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.”
INSIGHT
-Samuel anointed David the least in his household according to the brothers. David was actually forgotten from the kingship evaluation criteria and was in the bush taking care of his father’s flock. The Lord does not therefore look for the great and mighty, but he searches the heart. We should allow the Lord to search our hearts as well and remove all our anxieties and all that does not please Him. This also shows us that the state of our hearts should be welcoming to the Holy Spirit. The Lord uses us in our weaknesses as He becomes our strength by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit filled David and from that day He was not the same ever again. He became a leader after God’s own heart led by the Holy Spirit. His predecessor king Saul rebelled against God and His will when he did not follow His instructions to destroy all the Amalekites and their livestock. The Holy Spirit departed from him and he was possessed by a tormenting evil spirit (1 Samuel 16:14). We are called to follow God’s will and instructions all the time lest we grieve Him. May we desire to be anointed by the Holy Spirit that we may receive strength do achieve every responsibility and calling as kings in the land and in our particular areas of influence, for the glory of His name.
PRAYER
Dear Almighty Father, how Holy is Your name in all the earth. You are worthy to be praised and exalted. We thank You for Your love, mercy and compassion towards us. We thank You for this far that You have brought us and helped us by Your Holy Spirit whom You sent to us to be our Helper and to teach us all things about You. We thank You oh Lord for You have never left us alone or abandoned us. Oh precious Holy Spirit may You fill us afresh and anoint us with fresh oil that we may serve You better all our areas of influence. Holy Spirit may You separate us for Yourself and Your work that we may serve You Almighty Father as we should. May You take over all our lives and make us stronger even in our weaknesses. May You enable us to be great leaders and lead as You lead us and by Your power. We worship You Lord and exalt You for You are Great and greatly to be praised. May You cleanse us by Your blood Lord Jesus and purify us. May You reign in our lives Holy Spirit. We pray this in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

1 John 2:18-29 NIV
“Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what he promised us—eternal life. I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.”
INSIGHT
-According to the scriptures, the antichrist is someone who denies the Father and the Son. The antichrist denies Jesus as the Christ thus denies both the Father and the Son. This one therefore turned from and denied the faith. On the other hand, the one who accepts and remains in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and receives eternal life. Since we have been born of the Spirit, we have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit Who is designed to do His work in us and through us. The work of the anointing is to illuminate God’s messaging in the believer’s life. The anointing enables the transfer of data from heaven into our lives into history, the present and the future. The Holy Spirit communicates to us through our human spirit. The anointing is perfect and enters our spirit to cleanse our infected souls by sin and it begins to heal and disinfect us, and transformation takes place through the mind of Christ. We are called to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit guides us into all truth through the anointing. We are also called to go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15).
PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus we thank You for loving us and for anointing us with Your Holy Spirit. We thank You for this far that You have brought us and the far that You are taking us. We thank You for providing for us, protecting us, sustaining us, guiding us and giving us peace that surpasses all human understanding. May You preserve us from all evil and from the deception of the antichrist. May Your revival come to deliver all those who are lost into drugs and alcohol, LGBTQ, adultery, idolatry, corruption and other issues. May You deliver all those who have lost hope and depressed. May You guide us Holy Spirit into all truth. May You fill us afresh Holy Spirit. We thank You Lord Jesus and honor You. It is in Jesus mighty name we pray believing and trusting. Amen

Luke 4:18-19 NKJV
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
INSIGHT
-Jesus was anointed by the Holy Spirit. The anointing enabled Him to be effective in His bodily form as fully Man and fully God, and in His assignment here on earth. Acts 10:38 also reveals that, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” The anointing and the anointed one therefore speaks of the work of the Holy Spirit in a person’s life in Jesus Christ.
SUMMARY
Anoint in Hebrew is written as mashach which means to consecrate, sanctify and smear with oil. Every born again Christian has the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Many Christians do not know whether they are anointed or not and therefore they do not utilize this power. 1 Corinthians 2:10–11 outlines that, “the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit”. The Holy Spirit reveals to us the deep things of God not only for information but for transformation. This information is available to every believer, free of charge. The anointing denotes the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit designed to do His work in us and through us. The work of the anointing is also to illuminate God’s messaging in the believer’s life. To avail information from heaven into our lives. The Holy Spirit communicates to us through our human spirit. The Holy Spirit distributes His gifts to individuals as He wills. To some He gives the gift of word of wisdom, to another the word of knowledge, to another faith, gift of healings, working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, different kinds of tongues, and interpretation of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:8–11). The anointing is perfect and enters our spirit, and one of its primary roles is to cleanse our infected souls, heal, disinfect and transform us. The Holy Spirit requires us to turn at His rebuke and He will pour out His spirit on us and make His words known to us (Proverbs 1:23). Saul rebelled against God and His word and was dethroned after offering a sacrifice to the Lord which was only allowed for priests. (1 Samuel 13:2-14). King Uzziah wanted to offer burnt incense to the Lord which was a prerogative of the priests, Aaron and his sons. He was forbidden but he instituted and was struck by Leprosy (2 Chronicles 26:18). Exodus 28:41 shows that only Aaron and his sons were anointed, consecrated and sanctified to serve God as priests. David in the other hand was anointed as a king by Samuel the priest (1 Samuel 16:13). There is a clear distinction between kings and priests, and their functions, anointed for a particular calling. Although in some instances David functioned as a priest by the grace of God. He ate concentrated bread designed only for priests and he did not die (1 Samuel 21:6). God is calling us to let our garments always be white, and our heads should not lack oil (Ecclesiastes 9:8), the oil of His anointing so that He may always use us for His glory.
PRAYER
Lord You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You never change. May You anoint us Holy Spirit and grant us Your gifts as You please and Your fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control. May You teach us all things and deliver us from the snares of the evil one. May You grant us the gift of discernment that we may know and agree with You always Holy Spirit. We believe in You dear Lord Jesus and acknowledge that You are the Son of God the Father. May You make our relatives and all people know You and enter through You our Door to eternal life. We worship You Lord Jesus and honor You Jehovah. May You bless us and keep us. May You shine Your face towards us and be gracious unto us. May You show Your countenance unto us and give us peace. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forevermore. Amen
