Theme : MOUNT OLIVES
2 Samuel 15:30
So David went up by the Ascent of the Mount of Olives, and wept as he went up; and he had his head covered and went barefoot. And all the people who were with him covered their heads and went up, weeping as they went up.
INSIGHT
-Absalom wanted to overthrow King David in Jerusalem. King David fled to Mount Olives where he prayed to God with humility & his Kingship was restored.
-Mt Olives was a mountain of prayer where God’s presence was felt. Through prayer we get to God’s throne & He answers us.
PRAYER
Lord my King, I come to You today in humility asking You for mercy. Elevate my sprirt so that I may get to Your throne. You know my needs & intension better & the end to my calamity. Grant me victory in all these situations as nothing is too hard for You. Amen
