THEME: FEAR OF THE LORD

Proverbs 14:27 NKJV

“The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death.”

INSIGHT

–The fear of the Lord helps us to fear sin and walk in God’s statutes. The Lord has commanded us to follow His commandments and to walk in line with His true word. It takes His grace and mercy to achieve this and consistent walk with God. The fear of the Lord offers us long life now and life forevermore. Proverbs 19:23 reminds us that, the fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil. Let us therefore walk with God and in close communion with Him and He will satisfy us with His goodness and grace.

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus how great are You in all the heavens and the earth. You are worthy of all our praise and worship. May You fill our hearts with Your grace and favor, and guide us in You laws and precepts precious Holy Spirit. Oh Lord Jesus let all the earth fear You and all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of You. Only You are Holy may You help us to be holy and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Have mercy on us dear Lord and transform our hearts and minds to be more like You. May Your mercy and grace overtake us and lead us from one glory to the next. May Your mercy precede judgement and take over all that concerns us, in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
