THEME: SALVATION OF THE LORD

Isaiah 62:1-2 NKJV

“For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, And her salvation as a lamp that burns. The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the Lord will name.”

INSIGHT

-The Lord in this chapter declares that until Jerusalem’s salvation shines like a blazing torch, He will not maintain His peace as an affirmation to His bride the church. Despite its initial state of desolation from exile, the Lord promises to give it a new name. The Lord is indeed doing a new thing during this season and we are called to believe despite all our shortcomings.

PRAYER

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are our refuge, our fortress, and our ever-present help in times of trouble. We thank you for the gift of family and the blessing of family unit. Father You shall help us to abide in You as you abide in us for You are the Vine and we are the branches and apart from You we can do nothing. Dear Lord Jesus You have instructed us to call upon You and You will hear us, and whatever we ask in Your name, You will do, so that the Father may be glorified in You. We call on Your name Jesus that You may look to us with mercy and hear us and answer us. We look to You Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. May You grant us Your salvation and fill us with Your peace. May You heal all who are sick for by Your stripes we are healed. May You do a new thing in our lives and help us to always give thanks to You for Your goodness and love. Amen
