THEME: POWER AND AUTHORITY

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NKJV

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

INSIGHT

–Jesus ascended with power and glory, and He is seated at the right hand of God the Father in glory. We have hope in the Lord for He is faithful and He is always with us here on earth and He will be with us in heaven.

SUMMARY

Power and authority are critical keys to accessing God and His enduring grace. God is the owner of all power and authority. Jesus said to him saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” (Matthew 28:18). Jesus is the stone which the builders rejected and Has become the chief cornerstone which is the Lord’s doing and is marvelous in our eyes (Psalms 118:21-25).  The scepter is a symbol of authority which, shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet (Genesis 49:10). God has given us the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us (Luke 10:19). The Lord calls us to be strong in Him and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:10). God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21). 

PRAYER

This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now Lord we pray, send now prosperity. Dear Lord Jesus You are the Holy One of Israel, be exalted and magnified for all power, might, strength, honor and authority belongs to You. Lord You are Good, Lord You are Holy, Lord You are Magnified, Lord You are Enthroned, Lord You deserve all the glory, honor, power and authority. Dear Lord Jesus You are worthy to receive glory, honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created. May You do exceedingly abundantly more than we ask, think or imagine according to the power that works in us, to You be the glory forever and ever. Amen
