THEME: CALL TO JESUS
Matthew 6:33-34 NKJV
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”
INSIGHT
–Setting our priorities right is foundational for every believers life, governed by the word of God. The kingdom of God requires a life guided by righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit and not just eating and drinking (Romans 14:17). Repentance, believing in Jesus and being converted would be a perfect start in the life of a pilgrim of Christ. Therefore, when we seek God first and call upon Him, He releases every blessing and we shall not suffer want for He provides for all our present and future needs.
PRAYER
We sing a new song to You Lord God Almighty and call upon Your name in all the heavens and the earth. At the mention of Your name dear Lord Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus You are Lord to the glory of God the Father. Lord You have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. May You cleanse us and all people with Your precious blood, and set us free dear Lord Jesus we call upon You. May You release Your gift of salvation on all people and bless us. May You settle the hearts of all those who lost their loved ones during the demonstrations. We declare that we shall not witness police brutality, bloodshed, murder, loss of lives and illegal arrests during the peaceful protests. Oh God of all creation, bless this our land and nation, may justice be our shield and defender, may we dwell in unity, peace and liberty, may plenty be found within our boarders. Amen
