THEME: GOD OUR DELIVERER

Acts 5:31 AMPC

“God exalted Him to His right hand to be Prince and Leader and Savior and Deliverer and Preserver, in order to grant repentance to Israel and to bestow forgiveness and release from sins.”

INSIGHT

–After the death and resurrection of Jesus, He was not merely vindicated, but was officially placed in a position of supreme authority at the right hand of God, establishing His role as Lord as our Deliverer and Restorer through forgiveness of our sins.

SUMMARY

God delivers us, honors us and shows us His salvation when we call upon Him and delivers us from trouble (Psalms 91:15-16). God’s mercy is good, He delivers me for His name sake and delivers me (Psalms 109:21). God delivers us from the evil one and leads us away from temptations (Matthew 6:13).

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus we give You praise and adoration, we exalt Your holy name. None can be likened to You Lord. Thank You for Your love and mercy towards us. May You deliver us from every sin and evil and help us to know You and serve You with all that we are and all that we have. May You help us to look to You daily with the eyes of our hearts. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forever more. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord, forever and ever. Amen
