Psalms 109:21 NKJV

“But You, O God the Lord, Deal with me for Your name’s sake; Because Your mercy is good, deliver me.”

INSIGHT

–David appeals to God’s character rather than his own righteousness, asking for deliverance based on divine lovingkindness and God’s reputation. God is indeed merciful, able to save us and deliver us from every accusation against us.

PRAYER

We praise You our Lord and God for You are our only God and none is like You. We praise You as far as we are alive and will praise You Lord. We sing praises to You Lord and God while we have our being. We will not put our trust in princes nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help, but all our hope and trust is in You. Lord You say in Your word that there is no sorcery against Jacob nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel, what You our Lord and God has done. Lord may You deliver us from every accusations and enchantments against us. May You deliver all the street children and save them from their troubles. Thank You for Your love and care upon us. May You intervene in every conflict and cause peace in our homes, families, communities, offices and nation, for the glory and honor of Your name. Thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follows us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in Your house Lord, forever. Amen
