Joshua 1:9 NKJV
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
INSIGHT
–God commanded Joshua to be strong and courageous for the tasks ahead as a judge in Israel. This was initially spoken by Moses in Deuteronomy 31:8. It is a command from God that we should have good courage and strong. Even though sometimes we may feel frail and discouraged, let us not loose hope for the Lord is with us wherever we go.
PRAYER
We worship You Abba Father full of grace and mercy. Your mercies never cease they are new each morning, great is Your faithfulness. Dear Lord Jesus You have commanded us to be strong and not be dismayed. Lord may You strengthen us and help us in every work and purpose that You have called us to do. May You uphold us with Your righteous right hand and increase our capacity in every sphere of our lives. We thank You for Your grace and mercy upon us, we worship You and give You praise, in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
