Psalms 37:4-5 NKJV
“Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”
INSIGHT
–To delight in the Lord means to rejoice and find satisfaction in the Lord. To obtain peace and wholeness in God alone apart from worldly pleasures. True contentment is found by prioritizing God over worldly pursuits and trusting in the Lord fully, knowing that He will answer our secret petitions. When we delight in the Lord we draw closer to Him as He draws near to us through prayer and fasting, reading His word and fellowship with Him, obedience to His will and desire to follow Him unreservedly, leading in total fulfillment.
PRAYER
Abba Father our Lord and God we come before You today with thanksgiving in our hearts. We worship You and adore You. We extol You our Lord and Savior and bless Your name forever and ever. Everyday we bless You and will praise Your name forever and ever. Great are You Lord and greatly to be praised. Your greatness is unsearchable and Your wisdom unfathomable. We delight in You Lord and put all our hope and trust in You; knowing that You will answer all our prayers and hearts desires. We draw near to Lord today for You are near us. We ask for Your mercy and grace and seek Your direction and guidance for You are Holy and Faithful. We worship You give You all honor and adoration. In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
