Ezekiel 12:22-25 NKJV
“Son of man, what is this proverb that you people have about the land of Israel, which says, ‘The days are prolonged, and every vision fails’? Tell them therefore, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I will lay this proverb to rest, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel.” ’ But say to them, ‘ “The days are at hand, and the fulfillment of every vision. For no more shall there be any false vision or flattering divination within the house of Israel. For I am the Lord. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; it will no more be postponed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and perform it,” says the Lord God.’ ”
INSIGHT
–There was a common proverb in use among the people of Israel in Ezekiel’s day, that the days are prolonged and every vision fails. As the days are prolonged or delayed everything remains unchanged. Therefore the visions and prophecies of doom would never come to pass. The Lord has spoken and delivered promises unto us through His word, vision, dreams and prophesies etc. We have hope that the Lord declares that there shall no longer be delay and He performs every word.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus Your promises are yes and amen. Lord You make firm our steps for we delight in You. Even though we may stumble, we will not fall, for You Lord uphold us with Your righteous right hand. Lord You remind us not to fear, for You are with us. That we should not be dismayed, for You are our God. You have promised us that You are strengthening us, helping us and upholding us with Your righteous right hand. Your promises never fail dear Lord Jesus, Your promises to us are yes and amen. May You dismantle every delay and postponed promise and dream dear Lord Jesus. May You answer all our prayers and deepest hearts desires dear Lord Jesus. May You bless our children as they open school this week and protect them. We honor You Lord and give You praise, and it is in Jesus name we pray. Amen

“Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday. Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.”
INSIGHT
–King David counseled the people to simply trust God and do good for His glory. Instead of worrying and envying others, it is proper to give thanks in all circumstances. It is remarkable how quickly we can get distracted from the simple work of trusting God and doing good. Looking at the seeming prosperity of the wicked is one way we are often distracted and sometime indulge in these schemes causing delay in certain areas of our lives. The Lord calls us to trust in Him and He will surely give us the desires of our hearts.
PRAYER
We give thanks to You our Lord and God, for You are good and Your steadfast love endures forever. We give thanks to You Lord, for You are good and Your love endures forever. We give thanks to You in all circumstances; for this is Your will dear God for us in Christ Jesus. May You forgive us for every sin and iniquity that we have committed either knowingly or unknowingly, and cleanse us with Your precious blood merciful Savior. May You break every barrier that delinks us from our blessings and open double doors for us together with our children and loved ones to prosper Abba Father. We seek Your provision, protection, guidance and deeper faith in You. May You hear our prayers and answer our deepest hearts desires our Dad, and make all our plans succeed. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forevermore. Amen

“Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”
INSIGHT
-The Lord reminds us that many are the plans we have in our hearts but it is His purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21). We are called to wait on the Lord and He will give us the strength and grace to go through the various dynamics of life. The Lord asks us to wait on Him for He shall renew our strength, we shall mount up with wings like eagles, we shall run and not be weary, we shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
PRAYER
How great are You Lord in all the heaven and the earth. Yours O Lord, is the greatness, power, glory, victory and majesty. All that is in heaven and in earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom and You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You and You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might. In Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. Lord You control the times and seasons. Lord in everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. Lord may You make us fruitful in every season of our lives. May You empower us to walk in dominion, move in power, run in acceleration, step into our breakthrough. We shall not wonder nor meander for You are releasing Your purposes, direction and strength unto us. We worship You Lord and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
INSIGHT
–Apostle Paul addresses the Galatian church and encourages them to be diligent in their work and always do good as they expect a reward in God’s appointed time. We have been called to perseverance in doing good, and by sowing seeds of kindness and service especially to fellow believers, we should expect a harvest in due time if we do not grow weary. Further the work that we do should be done with all our hearts, as we are working for God and not human masters, as our reward, an inheritance from the Lord (Colossians 3:23-24). We are encouraged in Psalms 128:2, that we shall eat the fruit of our labour, blessings and prosperity will be ours.
PRAYER
Lord You are supreme over all gods and over all powers, You are great and mighty, we submit to You and obey Your will. You do not show partiality not accept bribes, but look into our hearts. May You forgives us every sin and iniquity that we have committed or thought or perceived or conceived with our hearts. May You cleanse us and our blood lines with Your precious blood. Lord You make sure orphans and widows are treated fairly, and show love to foreigners to give them food and clothing. May You remember every widow, widower, orphan, street child, street family, those who are in prison, those who are sick that You may heal, deliver and save merciful Savior. May You help us to do good always especially to those of Your household dear Jesus. We have had enough delay, we have had enough bondage, we have had enough burdens, we declare that Your blood Jesus is breaking every yoke now, every captivity, every delay in Your mighty name Jesus. May Your blood Jesus silence every tongue that has been raised against us, and break every arrow that has been shot against us. Our legacy will not be lost, our children and heritage are blessed. Our work is blessed, our hands are blessed, our labour is blessed, our destiny is blessed, our future is anointed in You Jesus. We declare mantles of righteousness upon every Genz, Gen alpha, millennial and new generation leaders in Jesus name. May You open the heavens, the storehouse of Your bounty, to send rain on our land in season and to bless all the work of our hands, that we will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. We thank You dear Lord Jesus for You love us and care for us. In Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

“Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
INSIGHT
–Speaking to a rich man, Jesus disclosed the difficulty for him to enter the kingdom of heaven. Jesus then responded to His disciples saying that, whatever is difficult for man, it is doable for Him. We realize that no situation is too far beyond God’s ability to intervene. There is no dream that is too great for God. We cannot make requests that are beyond God’s capability. Our role is to align our hearts with God’s heart and our will to God’s will. The more we seek God, the more our desires also begin to align with His desires. When this happens, God moves mountains because our prayers align with His will for us.
SUMMARY
Timing in Greek is written as kairos which relates to the right, critical, or opportune moment, distinct from the chronological time measured by clocks. Prophet Ezekiel gives hope to the Israelites that though their prophetic promise delayed, the vision will not fail but surely come to pass (Ezekiel 12:22-25). The people needed just to rely on God’s omnipotence and power, for nothing is too hard for God and His timing is perfect. It is therefore proper to wait on the Lord and be of good courage for He shall strengthen our hearts (Psalms 27:14). God also calls us to trust in Him even though what we might be going through or faced with seem impossible. God fulfills His promises and plans, even when they seem impossible or insurmountable to us. God call us to trust in Him and do good. To delight in Him and He shall give us the desires of our hearts (Psalms 37:3-7). As we do good we should not grow weary for in due season we shall receive our reward if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9-10).
PRAYER
We trust in You Lord even when we do not understand Your timing. Please help us to keep our hearts and eyes on You while we wait on You dear Lord Jesus. Lord we trust that as we seek You with pure hearts, we will always enjoy Your blessings and fulfilled purposes for our lives. May You keep us in perfect peace for our minds are steadfast and we trust in You. May all Your promises for us come to fruition in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. May You grant Your true salvation to us and all people dear merciful Savior. Lord may You do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask of or think of according to the power that is at work in us. Lord we trust in You and exalt You. We believe that You are able to do more than we can think of or imagine. We believe that we shall be extremely fruitful since we abide in You and You in us. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in Your house forever. May You bless us and keep us loving Father, may You shine Your face upon us and be gracious to us. May You lift up Your countenance towards us and give us peace. Amen
