THEME: DOMINION OF MAN
Ephesians 2:4-6
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,”
INSIGHT
-Jesus loves us with unending love that He died for our sins and cleansed us with His precious, making us holy by His grace. It is by grace through faith that we have been made righteous and not by our works lest anyone should boast. We should then have confidence knowing that God raised us out of death into life and positioned us securely in Christ, whom all dominion belongs.
SUMMARY
The Lord from inception has intended us to have dominion. In the beginning before He created man, He purposed that man should have dominion over the fish, birds, cattle, over all the earth and every creeping cattle (Genesis 1:26). We are stewards created in the image and likeness of God, called to take care of what the Lord has entrusted upon us. The Lord has also given us authority to tread over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, with the assurance that nothing shall hurt us (Luke 10:19). Due to the fact that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and has destroyed the power of death and hades. Christ, having died once and raised from the dead, death no longer has dominion over Him (Romans 6:9). We then have victory in Jesus for we trust in Him and His power of resurrection. Therefore, sin has no dominion over us for we not under the law but under grace (Romans 6:14). God has saved us through grace and we are seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places. If then we are seated with Christ in heavenly places, and everything under His feet, we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus and His ambassadors.
PRAYER
Almighty Heavenly Father, we praise You today and thank You for Your goodness upon our lives. We bless You for You have done great deeds and thus we shall make them known in all the earth. We praise You today with all our soul and our inmost being. All dominion and power belongs to You dear Jesus. We shall surely not forget any of the marvelous benefits You have given us. You heal all our diseases, You have forgiven our sins, redeemed our life from the pit and crowned us with love and compassion. Truly You are faithful and wonderful. Today we commit all those who are unwell asking that You may heal them from all sickness and infirmities in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ by the Blood of Jesus. Dear Lord may You strengthen and comfort all those who are weak discouraged and heavy laden. We cast all our burdens unto You for You care for us dear Lord. We humbly repent before You and ask for Your forgiveness and mercies dear Jesus. We commit the homeless and the needy in the society unto You praying that You will provide all their needs according to Your riches in glory and Your abundant Mercies. We ask that You grant the gift of salvation unto all those who do not know You. Thank You Lord that truly no tribulation, sickness or matter of life can put us down or defeat us for You have gone ahead of us to raise us up together with Christ and we are seated with Him in heavenly places. We ask You dear Jesus to remove any accusation against us and give us victory in all things for the glory and honor of Your name. We thank You, honor and exalt You, and we pray that if there is anything that may hinder us from accessing our blessings be broken right now in Your name Jesus. We are more than conquerors in You Jesus, and nothing will ever harm us. We are ambassadors of You dear Jesus, may You take charge of our lives, families, work, ministries, churches and nation, for the glory and honor of Your name. We pray this in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Blessed Weekend
