1 Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
INSIGHT
-A kingdom of priests & a holy nation is originated from Exod 19:6, which was an address to the children of Israel. In Rev 1:5-6, we learn that Jesus loved us & washed our sins by His blood making us kings & priests to God & has united us a people through His merciful love.
PRAYER
We give You thanks Lord our Father, for Your everlasting consolation & merciful love upon us. May You continue to establish us in every good work & word as a chosen priesthood & a holy nation. Amen
