2 Peter 3:13
Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
INSIGHT
-In the end of time, heaven & earth will pass away when a great white throne will replace the old earth & old heaven with habitations of His righteousness (The New Jerusalem). After this; there will be no room for the evil one who corrupts the earth with deception, theft, destruction & all forms of evil. Apostle Paul reveals that we should set your mind on things above, not on things on earth (Col 3:2). Our hope is in Christ’s eternal inheritance for we know that after the heaven & the earth pass away; Him (the Word) & His descendants (Christians) will remain.
PRAYER
Lord our Father, full of righteousness & truth we trust in You. In Your holiness we find hope of an everlasting inheritance by which we are called in Christianity. Cleanse our thoughts, hearts & tongues that we may stay focused on things that are pleasing to You. May we always live in peace, love, joy & good health in Your grace. Amen
