Hebrews 13:20-21

“Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.”

-Our God of peace, desires that we live in peace with Him and with one another. By His precious blood; He reconciled us to the Father and took away our sins. He who is the great Shepherd of the sheep purchased us with His blood and made us free from the law. We therefore rejoice in His everlasting covenant which makes us complete in every good work as we do His will, which is pleasing in His sight. God works in us and through us, both to will and do His good pleasures in us, and requires us to work our salvation with fear and trembling and obey His will (Philippians 2:12-13). We are cautioned from getting anxious when the wicked prosper in their evil ways which leads to destruction, but to wait patiently on the Lord (Psalms 37:7-10). Jesus Christ who is ruler over the kings of the earth, has made us kings and priests to our God and Father, and not for our own selves, to the glory and honor of His name, forever and ever. Amen (Revelation 1:5-6).

Hear our prayers O Lord and give ear to our supplications. In Your faithfulness answer us and in Your righteousness satisfy our souls. Teach us to do Your will, for You are our God, and Your Holy Spirit is good. Lead us in the land of uprightness and let us not be anxious when the wicked prosper but look to the light of Your salvation. Revive us O Lord, for Your name’s sake, and for Your righteousness’ sake bring our souls out of trouble, we humbly implore You. We are kings and priests unto You Abba Father, and we rule here on earth; for Your names sake. Anoint us afresh Holy Spirit, and fill us with Your wisdom, that we may rule effectively here on earth. Propel us in Your divine purposes dear Jesus that we may fulfil Your divine purpose for the glory and honor of Your name. We pray for all the school going children that You may bless them, provide for them and prosper them in their education and destines. Remember with mercy Lord, all the teenagers that You may strengthen them at the wake of temptations, and enable them to overcome. Be with us Your children, and enlighten us in Your favor and blessings. We who are in You Jesus we shall overcome every evil force, temptation and wicked plan in Your name Jesus. We are blessed of You and more than conquerors in You Jesus. We shall rule effectively and reign in righteousness like Abraham, Elijah, Joseph, Samuel, David, Daniel, Esther and Paul, for Your names sake Jesus Christ. We shall succeed in our areas of domain, for Your names sake Abba Father. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forever more. Amen

Blessed Thursday
