Psalms 138:8

“The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.”

-It is by God’s mercy and grace that He perfect’s everything that concerns us, according to His divine purpose. This has been God’s mission for His children since the foundation of the world. We find examples of God working through His patriarchs and servants, like:- Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Ruth, Esther, Hannah, Elijah, Daniel etc., and His Son Jesus Christ. He has also worked through people who were considered wicked like Paul, and others who were considered lost and probably ineffectual like the demon possessed man in Mark 5:1-20. Jesus discloses that it is by His mercy that He delivered this man from the snares of the devil. Probably the man was considered hopeless and at the same time dangerous having been bounded by chains which he kept breaking. When Jesus appeared, the man paid homage to Him and the demons begged that He does not send them out of the territory. Such are cases that Jesus saved and healed in scripture, and continues to do so even today. Some among us, in our families, communities, streets and world, and under demonic influence and need Jesus’ intervention. Some among us wonder aimlessly in the streets and their destinies are delayed or destroyed. Others are addicted to drugs, alcohol, pornography, prostitution, corruption, pride and other vices, and need Jesus. Many have been chained by diseases, infirmities and fear, and have lost hope. Others have been chained by struggles of life and some cannot even afford bread, and are lacking in faith. We all need Jesus. We need His love, mercy, grace and salvation as He perfects all that concerns us.

Lord You reign. You reign forever. You are clothed with majesty and love, we trust in You. You are clothed with grace and are girded with strength, Your mercy and love endures forever. Surely the world is established, and it cannot be moved. Your throne is established from of old, You are from everlasting and we who trust in You shall never be moved. Jesus on high You are mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea. Your testimonies are very sure. Holiness adorns Your house forever. Deliver us merciful Savior from every chain that ensnares us. Heal all our wounds including those who are waiting for Your physically, psychologically and emotionally healing, dear Jesus. Break every chain of disease, infirmity, barrenness, drug addiction, alcoholism, pornography, prostitution, corruption, pride, and any other thing that displeases You in our lives, families, relationships, society, nation and the entire world, loving Father. Set all the demon possessed free in our society dear Jesus. We cast all our cares and burdens unto You dear Jesus, set us all free. Forgive us our trespasses and heal all our wounds merciful Savior. Heal all our blood lines and wash us with Your precious blood. Remove every accusation by the devil in the courts of heaven against us, our descendants, generations and everyone who is called by our names dear Savior. May You perfect all that concerns us dear Jesus, for Your mercy and love endures forever. Do not forsake the works of Your hands and make us whole in Your salvation dear Jesus. Our Father who art in heaven; hallowed be Your name; Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptations but deliver us from evil; for thine is the Kingdom the power and the glory; forever and ever. Amen

Blessed Wednesday
