Romans 8:28-30

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”

-A sequence of events has been revealed through the scriptures to expose God’s divine purposes for us. It is through the love of God that He has made it possible for us to walk according to His purpose. God has a good plan for each of our lives though some among us do not walk in His purpose and do not find their path of destiny. Paul in his apostleship fought the good fight, he ran the race and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). Also, before his death, Myles Munroe proclaimed that he was ready to die empty, having accomplished his purpose. God knew us before we were formed in our mothers wombs as he disclosed to prophet Jeremiah, and ordained him a prophet to all the nations (Jeremiah 1:5). God foreknew us before we had any knowledge of Him. He predestined us to the likeness of His Son Jesus Christ who is the first born among many brethren. He also called us to sonship that we may inherit His kingdom. God justified us through faith in Jesus Christ and glorified us with the gift of eternal life, that He may receive glory to the highest end. These event did not catch Him by surprise, but God pre-planned everything according to His mercy love. Our purposes should not also catch us by surprise because God is loving and He reveals His plans for us, for the glory of His name.
