To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”
-It’s a great joy to imagine the love that God had for us in giving His only son to redeem us from our iniquities. This blessing is free & eternal as His mercy is everlasting.
-The Lord blessed Isaac in the land where he reaped a hundredfold according to the promise of his father Abraham. We are the seed of Abraham & share in his blessing (Acts 3:25). Let continue praying for the Lord to establish the work of our hands.
-An essential prayer to always remember is; “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”’
-To bless the Lord means to glorify, praise & worship Him. Let us not grow weary or forget to thank & praise God always.
-In the Jewish tradition, family blessings originated from ones father or grandfather & were done in the order of birth. It is paramount to note that all blessings come from God & He has the discretion to bless us at His own time.
We thank You & bless You Father for Your faithfulness in our lives, families & nation. Your mercy & love endures forever. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness & renew Your steadfast Spirit within us. Bless the work of our hands & lead us in Your will. Shine Your face upon us, be gracious to us & give us peace. Amen
