THEME: FALSE PROPHETS

Jeremiah 14:14 NKJV

“And the Lord said to me, “The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.”

INSIGHT

–God condemned the prophets who pretended to speak in His name. They claimed to have divine authority for their words of peace while ignoring the impending judgment of famine and sword. God declared that He had not sent these prophets, and their prophecies were not from Him but given to the deceit of their own hearts. These false prophets prophesied false vision, and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart. God calls us to be alert for the false prophets and false teachers are among the people and they secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction (2 Peter 2:1-2).

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus, You are good and Your mercies endures forever. Your mercies are new each morning. Many false prophets have risen, we repent on their behalf dear Lord Jesus that You may forgive them merciful Savior and transform them. May You forgive us and wash us with Your precious blood. We declare that every false prophecies, false visions, divinations, worthless things and deceitful hearts have no place in our lives, families and nation. We declare that false prophecy has no place in our churches. We declare that false prophecy, cults and occults shall not stand in this nation of Kenya. May You help us and shield us precious Redeemer. May You revive us precious Jesus, restore us Holy Spirit, refine us Abba Father. Amen
