Ephesians 2:4-9 NKJV
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

INSIGHT
–The grace of God that releases salvation to us all has appeared and this symbolizes the embodiment of grace in the Man Jesus Christ. One who is full of grace and truth (John 1:14). The grace of God enables us to say no to sin and sinful living through worldly lusts and ungodliness but to live righteously and alert in the truth. By the disobedience of one man Adam, death reigned but we have received abundant grace and the gift of righteousness in life through One Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17). We are reminded that noone is beyond reach to the grace of God. Further, that the grace of God is the blessing that reside in all spiritual blessings through Christ Jesus and enables each one to work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).

“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
INSIGHT
-Paul emphasizes that his transformation from a persecutor to an apostle was entirely due to God’s grace and not his own efforts. This therefore negates any form of self glory but all honor should be channelled to God alone. We are encouraged as believers to recognize that our own abilities, achievements and blessings are ultimately gifts from God, prompting us to rely on God’s grace in everything they do, say and even think about. When we have this realization, the we find strength in God’s grace to obtain victory in every sphere of our lives.
PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus You are Mighty and Able. You are highly exulted above every kingdom, above every king and above every altar. At the mention of Your name every knee should bow in the heavens and on earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus You are Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Lord You are able to do everything beyond what we can think about or imagine. Your grace Lord is evidently sufficient for us, for our power is made perfect in weakness. We will therefore boast all the more gladly about our weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on us. When faced with hardships, persecution and difficulties we rejoice in You for when we are weak, then we are strong in You Jesus Christ. May You victicate us from every trial and tribulation, and set us free dear loving Savior. We humbly ask You loving Savior for forgive us all our sins and iniquities and sanctify us afresh in the body, soul and spirit. May You grant us Your favor and grace in every sphere of our lives. We honor You Lord and give You praise, and it is Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”
INSIGHT
–Apostle Paul declares a blessing upon the Father in recognition of His glory, honor and goodness for our Father has already blessed believers with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. These blessings are ours in the heavenly places in Christ, they are higher, better, and more secure than earthly blessings having shown us His riches of grace through redemption by His blood. We are called to focus on the things that are above and not below for we are destined for heaven and not hell. Our heavenly Father predestinined and chose us that we enjoy adoption as sons and enjoy dominion in Him. God’s unfolding plan for us not only includes and personal transformation, but also a warm, confident relationship with the Father now and forevermore.
PRAYER
Abba Father we honor You and praise Your name. We praise and bless Your name Lord for You have loved us redeemed us with Your precious blood. We bless Your name from this time forth and forevermore, from the rising of the sun to its setting, Your name Lord is to be praised. Lord You are lifted high above all nations and Your glory above the heavens. Who is like You Lord our God in all the earth, Who dwells on high and humbles Himself to behold the things that are in the heavens and on the earth. You grant the barren woman a home, like a joyful mother of children, praise You Lord and exult Your name. You raise the poor out of the dust and lift the needy out of the ash heap that You may seat them with princes. Thank You for blessing us and lifting us high to heavenly places in Christ Jesus. We are satisfied by Your love. We humbly ask that You answer all our prayers and hearts desires. May You show mercy to the street families, prisoners, orphans, widows, widowers and the fatherless among us, that You make grant them rest for their souls. You are highly lifted high, we praise Your holy name. Amen
