John 14:1 NKJV
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.”
INSIGHT
-Jesus assures Peter and the other disciples of His mission to deliver eternal glory for them. He points out that there is no need to worry or doubt anything but all the need to believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus calls us to trust in Him and delink ourselves from unbelief or fear. Jesus is the Prince of peace and grants us His peace that settles our hearts and minds in Him. Jesus assures us that He went ahead to prepare a place for us, and He will come again to receive us to Himself, and we will be joined with Him forever.
PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus we thank You for this week, You have enabled us to see. We have hope that dear Lord Jesus You are doing a new thing in our lives, families, communities and nation. This far it is You Jesus. We have seen Your hand of mercy and love working and are so grateful. You have been a Faithful God. We believe in You and all our hope and faith is in You. We will not be ignorant concerning those who have fallen asleep lest we become sorrowful as others who have no hope. Since we believe that Jesus You died and rose again, we believe that we shall be joined with You forever. May You find favor with those who do not know You that they may also enter through Your door of salvation. Lord Jesus You are the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father apart from through You, may You grant the gift of salvation unto all the nations and all people dear Lord Jesus. Touch every heart and soul, Lord Jesus and draw us to Yourself. You are worthy and able Lord Jesus to do that which no man can do. You are able to save us and respond to all our hearts desires and prayers. May You remove every form of unbelief and unforgiveness from our hearts. May we give testimonies of Your goodness each day. All glory, honor, power, and wisdom belongs to You dear Lord Jesus now and forever. Amen

“Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”
INSIGHT
-Abraham the father of many nations had faith in God and He was shown a multitude of star to symbolize his descendants, and those who believe in God are His children. The promise of the father of faith is ever alive and present with us even today, as we receive the same reward of faith and obtain those things which are unseen as if they were. Abraham received his tangible and eternal blessing as he walked with God His Friend. His faith was accounted to him for righteousness, and we are called to believe in God wholeheartedly and serve Him with every part of our bodies as slaves to righteousness not sin. We are also reminded to call on the name of the Lord in every situation, and we will be saved (Romans 10:13).
PRAYER
Dear Father we thank You and we honor You. We give You all the glory and praise. We come to You with our hearts full of gratitude like one of the ten lepers who returned to give You thanks. We come to say thank You for this far that You brought us and everything that You have done unto us, receive all glory and adoration. Thank You dear Jesus for You are our Good God and everlasting King. Thank You for You are rich in mercy and wisdom. May You dear Lord Jesus forgive us all our sins and trespasses and wash us with Your precious blood. Your riches, wisdom and knowledge are unsearchable Oh Holy Spirit. Your judgments and paths are beyond tracing out. Who has known Your mind Lord or who has been Your counselor. May You bless us, our children, our nation and bless the work of our hands. May You fight for us every battle dear Lord Jesus for the battle belongs to You. We love You Lord, thank You for loving us first. Nothing shall separate us from the love of Lord God. We pray this believing and trusting in Jesus might name. Amen

Hebrews 11:7 NKJV
“By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.”
INSIGHT
–Noah found himself at crossroads given the message to build an ark that would salvage a generation of both human beings and other creatures. Ofcourse there was backlash given the nature of sin that made the Lord angry and decided to destroy the creation that He Himself created. Noah was caught in between the ridicule of the masses and obeying God, but the chose the later. Noah believed God and aligned himself with the intended work of restoration of righteousness upon the earth. God used Noah in a mighty way to save an entire generation by His grace and mercy. We are called to preach to the least and the lost souls in the world trusting in God and His saving grace which He always avails for His glory and honor.
PRAYER
Your grace is sufficient to us dear Lord and Your power is made perfect in weakness. We therefore boast all the more gladly about our weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on us. May Your power Holy Spirit be ever present with us that we may witness You in all the nations to the ends of the world. May Your grace and strength be available to us now and forever more. May You use us to call many to You among the Muslim communities, Asians and many among us who do not believe in You. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forever more. Amen

John 20:29 NKJV
“Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
INSIGHT
-Jesus Christ had already promised that when He is crucified, He will die and resurrect on the third day. Thomas doubted when he heard that Jesus Christ had resurrected and He is alive. Many are the times the Lord has made a promise unto us and we end up doubting even before it comes to pass. Sometime the pomise is delivered but we do not perceive it or even believe it. We are reminded that faith is having the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not yet seen. Jesus tells Thomas that blessed are those who believe even when they have not yet seen. We are called to teach and train our hearts and minds to believe in Jesus and in His promises even believe we have seen them. This is the ultimate faith.
PRAYER
Almighty Father we exalt and magnify You this day. We surrender our wholeselves and our lives unto You. We humbly repent for all the iniquities and sins we have done. May You cleanse us and wash us with Your precious blood Lord Jesus. May You sanctify us wholly body, soul and spirit. We declare that You are able and mighty to save for there is none like You. You are our able God and faithful Father. We pray that You shall lift and increase our faith. May You help us to trust in You more and more. May You remove every doubt and lie of the enemy working in us and replace it with Your word and Your promises that You have towards us. We thank You for You have promised that those who trust in You shall never be put to shame. We believe in Your Word oh Lord. May You heal all the sick in our homes and hospitals dear Lord Jesus. May You reign in our lives and take all the praise and glory for You deserve it all. We thank You and appreciate You oh Lord. We pray this in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Jeremiah 17:5-8 NKJV
“Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
INSIGHT
–There is folly in misplaced trust. Some trust in wealth, fame, achievements, connections, health and other gods. That one is cursed and shall not see good in the land. On the flip side, those who believe in the Lord and know their God, they shall b me strong and do exploits. They shall be blessed and they shall prosper in all that they do.
SUMMARY
Believing in God is the most prodigious gift than an individual can make in life. God is Sovereign, Good, in control and trustworthy even if everything seems out of control. God never changes. He is the same yesterday today and forever thus reliable (Hebrews 13:8). God is our source of our strength and courage. God calls us to believe in Him and not to let our hearts be troubled but to believe in Him (John 14:1). Thomas doubted and Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29). Jesus calls us to have faith in Him even though what we wait for has not yet been delivered. Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Abraham was showed the stars and the sand of the sea and promised to become the father of many nations. That promise lives on with us (Romans 4:16-18). Sometimes, when presented with the allure of sin, one should be able to see through its deception and believe God and His promises. To obey God like Abraham and Noah and enjoy His peace and prosperity. Believing in God requires total submission to God and His will, and we shall never be disappointed.
PRAYER
