Proverbs 12:4
An excellent wife is the crown of her husband, But she who causes shame is like rottenness in his bones.
INSIGHT
-In Gen 2:22-23, God made a woman from man’s rib & brought her to him. Adam said “this is bone of my bone & flesh of my flesh” since she was taken from man. Just as church is the bride of Christ, the woman should be virtuous (prov 31:10-31) & the two are united by Him in marriage. The family is upheld in the peace & prosperity of Christ when the couple dwells in His word.
PRAYER
You ordained the family unit Father, under Your leadership. Lead all families in the world by Your peace & prosperity, especially those that are at the verge of divorce. Guide all the youth who are yet to engage in marriage & lead them with Your eye as they come to that resolve. Amen
