Matthew 6:25-27 NKJV

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?”

INSIGHT

-Jesus cautions believers from developing anxiety when it comes to matters of provision, since we are more valuable than birds of the air and God feeds them. God provided bread from heaven in the wilderness for the Israelites daily supplies (Exodus 16:4). God cautions us from worrying which is a display of little faith or lack of trust in God’s ability to provide. Worrying does not change a persons well being but only God can work in us and through us.

PRAYER

Lord You tell us to trust in You with all our hearts and do good. To dwell in the land and feed on Your faithfulness. To delight ourselves in You Lord and You shall give us the desires of our hearts. To commit our way to You Lord and trust in You and shall bring it to pass. Abba Father may You rescue the street families and set them free from oppression and the streets. Dear Lord Jesus may You provide for us supernaturally all our needs and hearts desires, we put all our hope and trust in You. May You provide for all our needs according to riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Amen
