THEME: FEAR OF THE LORD

Proverbs 9:10 NKJV

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

INSIGHT

–The fear of the Lord is founded on wisdom. True wisdom originates from a reverential awe of God and grows through a deep, relational understanding of His character, commandments, and ways. The application of knowledge and understanding is wisdom therefore, the fear of the Lord. Sadly, fools despise wisdom and instruction (Proverbs 1:7).

PRAYER

We praise You Lord for only You are worthy of our praise. We praise You with all our hearts in the assembly of the upright and in the congregations for only You are worthy to be praised and adored. Your works Oh Lord are great; we take pleasure in You and them. Your work Lord is honorable and glorious, and Your righteousness endures forever. You have made Your wonderful works to be remembered. Lord Your gracious and full of compassion, You give food to those who fear You for You are ever mindful of Your covenant. Lord You have declared to us the power of Your works, in giving us heritage of the nations. The works of Your hands are verity and justice; all Your precepts are sure they stand fast forever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness. Lord You have sent redemption to Your people; and have commanded Your covenant forever, Holy and awesome is Your name. Lord we revere You and fear You, may Your wisdom and good understanding forever be with us that we may always do Your will and purposes. Your praises endure forever, Your glory to all generations. We worship You Lord and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
