THEME: BENEFITS OF BELIEVING

John 14:1

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.”

INSIGHT

-The word believe in Hebrew is written as pistos which means to have faith in or to credit upon the testimony of another or to be persuaded of the truth of, upon evidence furnished by reasons, arguments, and deductions of the mind, or by circumstances other than personal knowledge; to regard or accept as true; to place confidence in; to think; to consider; as, to believe a person, a statement, or a doctrine. As we began this series of believing Jesus Christ, we bear the true testimony that Jesus came and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory. He died for our sins and resurrected of the third day. He ascended into heaven and now we witness Him through the power of the Holy Spirit as we have hope of His eternal calling. Jesus reminds us to believe in God and also to believe in Him as He is the Son of God. When we believe in Him we have peace in our hearts and He takes away all forms of trouble and anxiety. Romans 5:1-2, reminds us that, since we “have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” This is the hope that we have in Jesus Christ, that we have access to Him now as He broke all barriers through His blood, and He has gone to prepare a place for us in heaven.

PRAYER

This is the day the that You have made Lord; we rejoice and are glad in it. Save us Oh Lord and grant us success. Lord You have made Your light shine upon us. You are our faithful God, we give thanks to You. We humbly ask You forgive us all our trespasses and wash us with Your precious blood. May You remove all accusations from us in the courts of heaven, our Savior and Advocate. You are our King, we exalt Your holy name. We give thanks to You Lord for You are good; and Your love endures forever. We shout joyfully to You Lord for Your victory resound in the tents of the righteous. We celebrate Your goodness and love upon us and upon all Your people. We glorify Your holy name for only You deserve all the glory and honor Jesus. May You grant us Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May You heal our wounds and bless our going out and coming in. May You bless us and guide us this entire week that we may prosper and be of good health. May You help us to accomplish all that You have called us to according to our books in heaven. May You hear our prayers and answer our hearts desires. May You make all our plans succeed according to You great love. We believe in You and hope in You dear Jesus for You are our Lord and Savior, and none can be compared to You. All glory, honor, power, praise and salvation belongs to You Jesus, now and forever. Amen
