DESTINY CONNECTORS DESTINY CONNECTORS
2 Kings‬ ‭5:1-3‬ ‭ “Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great and honorable man in the eyes... DESTINY CONNECTORS

2 Kings‬ ‭5:1-3‬ ‭

“Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great and honorable man in the eyes of his master, because by him the Lord had given victory to Syria. He was also a mighty man of valor, but a leper. And the Syrians had gone out on raids, and had brought back captive a young girl from the land of Israel. She waited on Naaman’s wife. Then she said to her mistress, “If only my master were with the prophet who is in Samaria! For he would heal him of his leprosy.””

INSIGHT
Sometimes we hear great speakers say that, “you should explore your potential and become the best in your area of influence”. Often times it sounds easy but it takes the hand of God to succeed. Having great potential might not be enough. Many people died with their great talents and gifts, unnoticed and undiscovered, because they lacked destiny connectors. There comes a time in one’s life that all what your destiny needs is just the right connection. Someone once said, “the distance between where you are right now, and where you desire to be is not in kilometers, but in the minds.” That is, between you and your healing, prosperity, promotion, achievement and breakthrough, are people, and the earlier you locate them, the better for you. Naaman, was a great Syrian army general who suffered from leprocy. If it were not for the little slave girl serving his wife, probably he could have died of the disease. The girl although she was a slave, and possibly unconsidered in the society, she had information about the solution to Naaman’s problem. It is possible that low ranking servants in our midst have great information that would transform our lives. Unfortunately, some of us despise them, including our house girls, security guards, messengers, cleaners etc, possibly due to pride. Naaman did not take the information from the slave girl casually but obeyed, and when he met with Elisha who told him to go to the river Jordan and wash seven times, he was made clean.

Nothing is too hard for You. Only You know us and only You can salvage our circumstances. Only You can heal our diseases, open new doors of opportunity for us and answer our hearts desires. May You join us with the right destiny connectors so that we may move from one glory to the next. May You fill our hearts with humility so that we may respect all people disregarding their social, education and financial status. Teach us dear Jesus to love one another as we love ourselves, and to always do good to each other. May You teach us Your kingdom principles and separate us from evil company, which destroys good morals. May You bless us and open many doors of opportunity for us, for the glory and honor of Your name. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now, and forever more. Amen

Genesis 41:8-14

“In the morning his mind was troubled, so he sent for all the magicians and wise men of Egypt. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but no one could interpret them for him. Then the chief cupbearer said to Pharaoh, “Today I am reminded of my shortcomings. Pharaoh was once angry with his servants, and he imprisoned me and the chief baker in the house of the captain of the guard. Each of us had a dream the same night, and each dream had a meaning of its own. Now a young Hebrew was there with us, a servant of the captain of the guard. We told him our dreams, and he interpreted them for us, giving each man the interpretation of his dream. And things turned out exactly as he interpreted them to us: I was restored to my position, and the other man was impaled.” So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon. When he had shaved and changed his clothes, he came before Pharaoh.”

INSIGHT
Among the classification of destiny connectors are destiny introducers or people with access and influence. These are people in authority who introduce others to influential men and women. In the previous chapter, Joseph accurately interprets the chief cup bearer and chief bakers dreams, and they came to pass as prophesied. Even-though Joseph was forgotten in the dungeon for another two years, God had a good plan for him. Joseph was introduced to Pharaoh by the cup bearer, when he had a disturbing dream and no one else could interpret it. How could Pharaoh have known that a man like Joseph exist, if not for his chief cup-bearer? And how could he have become a prime minister in Egypt, if he had not interpreted Pharaoh’s dream? We see God working through men and women of influence in government, social circles, business, church etc; who become our destiny connectors. The predicament with this is that, many people follow men and women of influence and somehow put their trust in them instead of totally depending on God.

PRAYER
Abba Father we thank You. Thank You for the gift of life that You have given us. Thank You for the air that we breath. Thank You for good health. Thank You for giving us every spiritual blessing. Thank You for providing for us, protecting us, guiding us, healing our diseases and wounds, sustaining us, redeeming us with Your precious blood, and for the gift of eternal life. Thank You for this far that You brought us and for the far that You are taking us. Thank You for the plans that You have for us, plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. All our hope and trust is in You dear Jesus. We declare that our destinies will not be aborted, destroyed or delayed in Jesus name. Our destinies will be accomplished at the appointed time in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Nothing shall come in our way to delay, steal or destroy our destinies. No disease or loss shall befall our destiny connectors but we shall be united at the right time. May You dear Jesus open the eyes of understanding that they may locate us and cause a shift in our lives and destinies. We who know You Lord shall be strong and shall do exploits. We declare that we are more that conquerors in You dear Jesus. May You lift us up like You lifted Joseph from the dungeon and made him a prime minister in Egypt. May You remember us with favor dear us and move us from one glory to the next for the glory and honor of Your name. We pray this believing and trusting in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

1 Samuel‬ ‭16:17-19‬ ‭

“So Saul said to his attendants, “Find someone who plays well and bring him to me.” One of the servants answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is a brave man and a warrior. He speaks well and is a fine-looking man. And the Lord is with him.” Then Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, “Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.”

INSIGHT
-There are people who God has given them special skills and talents whose abilities may go unnoticed if not applied to the right audience. Proverbs 22:29 discloses that, those who are skilled in their work will stand before kings, and not unknown men. When the Spirit of the Lord left from king Saul, a distressing spirit from the Lord distracted him. He knew the solution was to get a skilled harpist and the music would calm his spirit. Even with David’s great skills and competences, he was still living in obscurity until someone recommended him at the right place and time. Some of us have unique skills and talents but we are yet to explore them. We need to pray that the Lord will expose us and our children to the right destiny connectors who will expose us to kings as we journey to maximize our God given potential.

PRAYER
Father we thank You and praise Your holy name. We exult You and lift Your banner high in all the earth. We worship You and give You all the praise and adoration. You are our Father and You give us whatever we ask for in prayer. Father You say in Your word that when we ask for bread You cannot give us a stone. We humbly ask You to send forth our destiny connectors who will help us to realize our gift and talents and expose them to the appointed audience
. Father You have promised to give you what you ask in prayers. Increase in us wisdom in purpose most precious Holy Spirt, that with our gifts we may go before kings; for the glory of Your name. May You fill us with the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self control. May You fill us with the gift of faith, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, teaching, helps, prophecy, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, healing, performing of miracles, discernment, according to Your divine will. You who live in us Holy Spirit You are greater that the one who lives in the world. We believe that we can do all things through You Christ who strengthens us. May You empower us Holy Spirit to achieve all that You have called us to do for the glory and honor of Your name. May You also remember all those who are sick and suffering, those who have court cases and in prison, the street families and all those who are depressed, that You may heal them and deliver them from all their troubles merciful Savior. May You answer all our prayers and hearts desires Abba Father. All power, strength, might, wealth and blessings belong to You Lord now and forever. Amen

Ruth‬ ‭1:16-17‬‬‬‬

“But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there I will be buried. May the Lord deal with me, be it ever so severely, if even death separates you and me.”

INSIGHT
-Burden bearers is the next class of destiny connectors. These are people who have been tested and tried to ensure that one’s purpose has been achieved. When Naomi sort to go back to her father’s house in Bethlehem of Judah, Ruth could not leave her. Possibly since they were both widows, and also because she had seen the faithfulness of her God. She was determined to journey with her unless death separates them. The Lord blessed them and open new doors for them. Burden bearers like Ruth are individuals who stand with you in all situations for instance spouses, mentors etc. They are there when you are crying and are present when you are laughing. They support your vision without looking at your current status. May the Lord give us burden bearers who will stand with us in circumstances, until the purpose for which they have been sent is fulfilled. Ultimately we know that Jesus is our bearer. He bore our sins on the cross and paid the price for our redemption. We are called to cast our burdens unto Jesus and He will sustain us. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (Psalms 55:22).

PRAYER
We give thanks to You Lord for You are good; and Your steadfast love endures forever. We shout joyfully to You Lord the Rock of our salvation. We come before Your presence with thanksgiving in our hearts. We shout joyfully to You Lord Jesus with psalms of praise. Only You Lord are our Great God, and King above all gods. In Your hand are the deep places of the earth, the heights of the hills are Yours. The sea are Yours and Your hands formed the dry land. We thank You Jesus for loving us and caring for us. We cast our burdens unto You Jesus for You care for us. Thank You for preserving us, You will never allow the righteous to be moved. We rely and depend totally on You. You are our Shepherd and Shield. Our Stronghold, shall always be in awe of You. May You cause every form of help to locate us. May You send us godly mentors to walk with us. May You cause all those who are unmarried to locate their spouses in Jesus name. May You grant us favor before You Lord and before men and women. May You make us to succeed in our plans and open many doors for us. May You answer all our hearts desires. We shall not die before our time but live to proclaim Your goodness Oh Lord. All glory, honor, grace and favor comes from You Lord now and forever. Amen

Acts 8:28-35

“The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it. Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him…Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus”

INSIGHT
-Destiny connectors can also have a special anointing that benefits the body of Christ.
Destiny connectors can be carriers of great mantles that they can release. Philip met the Ethiopian Eunuch who was the treasurer of the queen of Ethiopia, reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip revealed the work of Jesus on the cross. Eventually the Eunuch was baptized received salvation. If the Ethiopian eunuch had not met Philip, he may not have been saved.

SUMMARY
Destiny connectors can basically be defined as people who divinely connect you to your destiny. They are mandated to help you achieve what God has predestined for us. We know that God predestined us to adoption as sons according to the good pleasure of His will (Ephesians‬ ‭1:5). There are destiny connectors and destiny destroyers. Destiny destroyers are individuals who do not do not build but kill your God given purpose. Destiny connectors are firstly, people who are assigned to help you reach Your God given mandates. Some are of lower ranks and social status. Naaman, was a skilled and great commander in the Syrian army but he had leprocy. It took the intervention his house girl, a young Hebrew slave to inform his wife of prophet Elisha (2 Kings‬ ‭5:1-3‬). The young girl, although she was low in social and economic status, was able to connect Naaman to his miracle. The second class are people who have the right ladder you need to climb into greatness, also called destiny introducers. They have networks and connections required to move you to the next level. The cupbearer remembered Joseph after two years of accurately interpreting his dream. He was in the dungeon and after he revealed Pharaoh’s dream, he became prime minister in Egypt (Genesis 41:8-14). The third category comprises of people who have great gifts and talents but remain unknown. When the Spirit of the Lord departed from king Saul, and a depressing spirit bothered him, he needed a skilled harpist to calm down his soul (1 Samuel‬ ‭16:17-19‬). David a skilled player of the harp was brought to comfort the king. Probably his skills would have remained unnoticed or his destiny altered. The Bible reminds us that your skill will make room for you before kings. The fourth group are burden bearers. The word “borne” means “to lift up and bear away. Ruth clung to Naomi even when she did not fully comprehend her journey to Bethlehem (Ruth‬ ‭1:16-17‬‬‬‬‬). Jesus has promised that He will lift our burdens and give us His peace that surpasses all understanding. The fifth category are men and women with spiritual anointing. God does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets” (Amos‬ ‭3:7‬). Prophet Elijah gave his mantle to Elisha and released a double portion. The Ethiopian Eunuch did not return home empty had received the gift of salvation. Destiny connectors are people who have been assigned by God to offer assistance in a certain area that you may receive open doors, breakthrough’s, and new opportunities that will transform your life.

PRAYER

You are Holy Lord the fountain of all holiness, we bless Your holy name. You are Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Shalom, our Creator and our Father. We humbly beseech You dear Jesus to forgive us all our trespasses and heal our hearts, soul and bodies. We seek Your presence in our homes, work places, nation and everywhere that we go. We seek Your favor in all our going out and coming in. We seek Your favor before You and before men and women. We seek Your divine connection pertaining to our destiny connectors that we may receive the required help for the glory of Your name. We seek You divine graces to help us transcend from one glory to the next. You are able dear Jesus and nothing is too hard for You. May You fight all our battles for us, for the battle belongs to You Lord. We are more than conquerors in You dear Jesus. No weapon fashioned against us shall prosper and no tongue raised against us in judgement shall prevail in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. May You protect us and preserve us with Your precious blood. May You make us fruitful in every area of our lives and increase our productivity for Your names sake. May You bless us and keep us Lord. May You make Your face to shine upon us and be gracious unto us. May You turn Your countenance upon us and grant us peace. Jesus we believe and trust in You. Amen
