Matthew 19:14 NKJV
“But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
INSIGHT
–Jesus rebukes the disciples for stopping children, emphasizing that childlike humility is required for salvation. Children are usually innocent, have a teachable spirit, obedient and trust their parents or guardians. Jesus demostrates that the kingdom of heaven is accessible to those who have attributes of a child towards Him.
PRAYER
We rejoice in You our Lord and God, for You are Great and Awesome in wonder. We praise You with harp and make melody to You with instruments of ten strings. We sing to You a new song and play skillfully with a shout of joy, for Your word Lord is right and all Your work is done in truth. Lord You love righteousness and justice, the earth is full of Your goodness, may You grant each one of us a childlike heart and teachable spirit that we may always submit to Your will and purposes. May You help and guide us to always walk in truth. May You grant us leaders who will do Your will for the betterment of our nation. Lord You have done great things for us, and we are glad, we worship You and give You praise. Amen
