THEME: ARISE AND SHINE

Isaiah 60:1-2 NKJV

“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.”

INSIGHT

–The Israelites endured a period of darkness, captivity, sin and hopelessness in exile. The promised hope of restoration that unfolds with the Messianic revelation to both the Jews and the Gentiles, who experience true freedom in Christ and deliverance from the shackles of darkness through the gift of salvation. God calls us to arise in faith and reflect His light so that His glory may overflow in us.

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus, You are the Light of the world and in You there is no darkness at all. You are our Light and Salvation we shall not fear anyone but You alone. You are the stronghold of our lives, You are our anchor and source. Lord You lighten our lamps and deliver us from darkness, may You release Your true salvation to all men. May You sustain us in Your truth and justice, and help us to focus on You and Your cross for in Your light we see light. May You forgive us all our sins and iniquities and wash us with Your precious blood. Lord today we choose to arise and shine for we are the light of the world, that You may help us to keep our light shinning before others, so that they may see our good works and give glory to You God our Father. We worship You dear Lord Jesus and give You praise, and it is Jesus name we pray. Amen
