THEME: PROMISES OF GOD
Galatians 3:26-29 NKJV
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
INSIGHT
–God’s covenantal promise to Abraham saying that, “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Genesis 12:2-3). Through this covenant, all families and nations inherited a blessing through God’s seed fulfilled in Christ by His death and resurrection. All believers in Christ are included in this blessing, regardless of ethnicity. Our identity and relationship with God are found in Christ, not in religious law and rituals. Faith in Jesus therefore unites us with God as His sons and daughters, and every blessing spiritual and physical is for us who believe.
PRAYER
Abba Father You are our God, and we are Your children. You are our Lord and God, none can be likened to You. Thank You for Your love upon us and for every blessing that we have received from You. Thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross for us Your children, that we may inherit life everlasting in You Jesus Christ. Thank You for Your promise upon Abraham to bless him and make him into a great nation. Thank You for the promise to make him exceedingly fruitful and nations and kings shall come from him, this is our promise since we are Abraham’s descendants through You Jesus Christ. Your promises are yes and amen, we trust in You. May our faith in You dear Lord Jesus be accounted to us and our generations for righteousness. All glory, honor, power, riches and blessings belong to You Lord Jesus, now and forevermore. Amen
