Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
-James 4:10, Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
-It is prudent to humble ourselves & accept to serve others Just like Jesus & He will lift us up.
-Judah was willing to become a slave on behalf of Benjamin his brother/ The widows sons were saved by Elisha from impeding slavery by her creditors/ we were set free from sin by Jesus & became slaves of righteousness/ we were baptised into Christ, made equal in Him & thus His sons/ we should desire humility more than greatness so that God may lift us up.
Thank You Lord Jesus for making us free from sin. May we dwell in Your righteousness & truth all the time through Your guidance. We humbly ask You to journey with us throughout the lives. Amen
Our Father who at in heaven, Hallowed be thy name…
