Matthew 18:2-5
Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.
INSIGHT

-Jesus uses a child to teach on humility. Children have distinct characteristics of willingness to learn, dependent on parents, innocence & don’t seek authority. We also read that the humble will be lifted & will inherit the earth.
SUMMARY

-Sarah & Zacharia doubted Gods message that they would have sons due to their old age not realizing the omnipotent nature of God/ Gods word should be taught to all children that His blessings may be upon them/ Children should obey their parents for this is the first commandment with a promise/ As children are innocent in word & deed, we should desire pure milk of the word.
PRAYER

We humbly implore You Father, for all the graces that You have granted us. Help us to always be humble in words & deeds; & convert us to be like little children. We praise You & magnify You. Amen
