THEME: EARTH
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
INSIGHT
-Earth is written as erets in Hebrew & it means dirt, dust, ground, land, soil & ore. It is the physical arena we live in which exists in space & time which God operates through us. This is different from the world which is defined as collective systems that govern the earth (Kosmos) e.g. government, insurance, banking etc.
-In the beginning God/ the Word pre-existed & created the earth & the three heavens. The earth has a population of over 7.3B people. There are plans to create a city in planet Mars where atleast 1M people will settle.
-Jesus came to restore the earth to the world of God as evidenced in Mat 6:10; Your kingdom come & Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God advocates for His will to be imparted on earth as it in heaven so that we may live free from the temptations of the evil one who is the ruler of this world (John 12:31). Therefore, God loved the world & sent His son, the light of the world to save those that believe in Him. The earth we live in has overtime been influenced by the systems of the world which has continuously corrupt it. We have been called to holiness by seeking first His kingdom & His righteousness for we are in the world but not of the world. Gods will is continuously imparted in us by the help of the Holy Spirit, who teaches & reminds us all things, in the Word (John 14:26).
PRAYER
We thank You Father, for we have seen another beautiful day in good health. Restore the sick in hospital & at home by Your healing power. Renew our thoughts from the systems of the world that corruption may not be named among us. Help us during this elections that our votes may bring transformation change in our nation & those we interact with; through Your will powered leadership. Have mercy on us & direct us in decisions that will share Your kingdom agenda in our nation. You created all things, we praise You & worship You. Amen
